  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Finds paydirt in loss

Barkley rushed 21 times for 43 yards and a touchdown and caught five of seven targets for 34 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Colts.

Barkley rushed off left end to get the scoring started on the day with a one-yard touchdown in the first quarter. It was fortunate for his fantasy owners, as he turned in a second straight dud from a yardage standpoint. The rookie standout will look to get back to his usual level of production at home Week 17 against a Dallas defense likely to rest many of its starters after already having clinched the NFC East.

  • Dalvin Cook RB | DAL

Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Eclipses 100 scrimmage yards

Cook rushed 16 times for 73 yards and caught all three of his targets for 35 more in Sunday's 27-9 win over the Lions.

Cook came back down to earth after blitzing the Dolphins for 136 yards on the ground and two touchdowns in Week 15, but he still served as Minnesota's primary running back, with Latavius Murray gaining just 28 scrimmage yards on 11 touches to Cook's 108 yards on 19 touches. The Vikings will ride Cook with a playoff berth on the line in Week 17, but carving out running room won't be easy against the rival Bears.

  • Matt Breida RB | SF

49ers' Matt Breida: Aggravates ankle Sunday

Breida (ankle) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bears.

Injured to start the second quarter, Breida was able to walk off the field under his own power before making a visit to the blue sideline tent, and eventually, the locker room. The culprit was again his ankle, which has forced one absence and numerous other in-game departures this season. Expect Jeff Wilson to carry the load in the event Breida doesn't reenter the contest.

  • Cowboys' Ezekiel Elliott: Solid but unspectacular in win

Elliott rushed 18 times for 85 yards and brought in five of six targets for 24 yards in the Cowboys' 27-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. He fumbled once but it was recovered by the offense.

It was a rock-solid yet somehow underwhelming effort for Elliott, who's spoiled fantasy owners all season with some eye-popping numbers. His overall touches were down Sunday for the second straight week, which has resulted in back-to-back sub-100-yard tallies on the ground for only the third time this season. On the plus side of the equation, Elliott's work as a receiver continues as strong as ever, as he's now notched at least five receptions in seven straight games. With the Cowboys having clinched the NFC East with Sunday's win, it remains to be seen how much action Elliott will see Week 17 against the Giants.

  • Joe Mixon RB | HOU

Bengals' Joe Mixon: Fewest rushing yards since Week 11

Mixon accounted for 68 rushing yards on 17 attempts, adding two receptions for 10 yards during Sunday's 26-18 loss to Cleveland.

The 22-year-old Mixon had been one of the best backs in fantasy of late coming into the weekend -- checking in as RB5 in PPR scoring over the past four weeks, and facing a Browns defense that ranked in the bottom 10 in rushing yards (1,460) and receiving yards (700) allowed to opposing running backs. Mixon was unable to take advantage of the favorable matchup, logging his lowest rushing output since Nov. 18 and snapping a two-game scoring streak by failing to get into the end zone against a sub-par Cleveland red-zone defense (bottom 12 in opponent TD percentage). His pass-catching floor has subsided some as well, as he's averaged 12.8 receiving YPG over his past four games compared to 35.8 YPG in four outings prior. In Week 17 he'll be facing a Steelers defense that has been dominant against opposing RBs, giving up just 1,117 rushing yards (seventh best) and 397 receiving yards (third best) to the position this year.

  • Nick Chubb RB | HOU

Browns' Nick Chubb: Second straight 100-yard outing

Chubb rushed for 112 yards on 19 attempts, adding two receptions for three yards during Sunday's 26-18 win against the Bengals.

Chubb has been an absolute workhorse since the trade of Carlos Hyde on Oct. 19, leading the NFL in percentage of team carries over that span (18.6 per game since Week 7, compared to 16 combined attempts over the first six weeks of the season). With an impressive outing against Cincinnati on Sunday, the rookie back now has consecutive 100-yard rushing performances for the first time in his career. He has, however, failed to find the end zone over the past two weeks, after racking up a ridiculous seven total touchdowns between Weeks 9 and 14. Upcoming in Week 17 is a tough divisional showdown against a Ravens defense that ranks top five in both rushing (994) and receiving yards (448) allowed to opposing running backs this season.

  • Patriots' Cordarrelle Patterson: Leaves Sunday's game

Patterson was forced out of Sunday's game against the Bills with a knee injury.

Prior to his exit, the versatile Patterson carried four times for 66 yards and caught one of his two targets for three yards. His injury is yet another hit to a New England receiving corps that is now without Josh Gordon (suspension). Julian Edelman, Chris Hogan and Phillip Dorsett are currently the team's top healthy wideouts.

  • Packers' Jamaal Williams: Under evaluation for concussion

Williams has left Sunday's road game against the Jets to be evaluated for a possible concussion, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.

Prior to his departure, Williams racked up 10 carries for 70 yards and one touchdown while hauling in two of his three targets for 16 yards. With Aaron Jones (knee) on IR, Kapri Bibbs and Lavon Coleman are the sole health running backs on the active roster.

  • D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE

Texans' D'Onta Foreman: Active for first time in 2018

Foreman is active for Sunday's game against the Eagles with Lamar Miller (ankle) sidelined, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Foreman, a 2017 third-round pick, acted as the top complement to Miller for the majority of his rookie campaign before tearing his Achilles' tendon Nov. 19 of that year. The lengthy rehab he required after surgery resulted in him opening the season on the PUP list before he was activated earlier this month. He'll now get the chance to make his season debut, likely handling a limited role on offense behind fill-in starter Alfred Blue.

  • Keith Ford RB | IND

Bills' Keith Ford: Listed as No. 2 RB

Ford is listed as the backup to LeSean McCoy in advance of Sunday's matchup against New England.

Ford made his season debut in Week 15, collecting 14 carries on 41 offensive snaps in a week where much of the backfield was sidelined due to injury. While McCoy is back in the mix and listed as the starter, Ford is the only other healthy true running back on the active roster, as Chris Ivory (shoulder) is inactive and Marcus Murphy (elbow) was placed on IR this week.
