Singletary (hamstring) will play Sunday against the Dolphins, Chris Brown of the Bills' official site reports.

The rookie makes a long-awaited return following a Week 2 injury. While Frank Gore will garner most of the carries, the explosive Singletary offers an entirely different skill set and will certainly get sprinkled into the game plan with regularity. His touches will be somewhat limited with Gore around, but remember he's facing what may be one of the worst defenses of the decade, plus T.J. Yeldon was made an inactive for the contest.

Bawden (back) is active Week 7 against Minnesota.

Bawden logged a regular snap count Week 6 against Green Bay but was added to the injury report this week with a back issue. It won't be enough to keep the fullback from suiting up for his regular role, which is equally balanced between offense and special teams. The rookie has yet to record a carry all season but has registered three receptions.

Mostert (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Mostert only managed one limited practice this week while he contended with the knee injury, but the 49ers were apparently pleased enough with the progress he showed in Friday's session and in pregame warmups to give him the green light to play. Though he'll be available Sunday, Mostert is expected to operate as the clear No. 3 option in the backfield behind Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman. Both Breida and Coleman played more than a third of the offensive snaps in the Week 6 win over the Rams while Mostert played just nine percent.

Hills was released off the Lions' practice squad Saturday.

The 24-year-old signed with the practice squad earlier in October but will lose his spot as Detroit brings aboard fellow RB Paul Perkins. Hills is still looking to make his NFL debut after going undrafted out of Slippery Rock in 2017.

The Redskins promoted Reynolds to the active roster from the practice squad Saturday, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.

Reynolds will serve as the No. 3 running back on Washington's depth chart with Chris Thompson (toe) ruled out for Week 7. The Kutztown product took reps with the first-team offense in practice earlier in the week, per Rhiannon Walker of The Athletic, making it conceivable that Reynolds could have an offensive role versus the 49ers on Sunday.

Gore was cut from the Chargers' practice squad Friday, per the NFL's official transaction log.

The Chargers apparently needed Gore's services for a couple of days of practice as he had just signed Wednesday. The 22-year-old is once again a free agent.

Washington could have a role on offense with Alvin Kamara (ankle) out for Sunday's game in Chicago, Larry Holder of The Athletic reports.

Washington has played each of his 103 snaps on special teams this season, stuck behind Kamara and Latavius Murray in the backfield. Murray will handle the lead role Sunday, with Washington and Zach Zenner providing depth against a tough Chicago defense. Zenner just signed with the team Wednesday, so he's more likely to have an impact on special teams than anything else.

Murray is poised for a lead role in the Saints offense with Alvin Kamara (ankle) ruled out for Sunday's game in Chicago, Mike Triplett of ESPN.com reports.

With only Dwayne Washington and Zach Zenner behind him on the depth chart, Murray figures to take on the majority of Kamara's usual workload, albeit against a tough Chicago defense. The Bears have looked a bit more vulnerable this season, allowing Josh Jacobs to run for 123 yards and two touchdowns when star DE Akiem Hicks suffered a major elbow injury two weeks ago in London. Hicks is now on injured reserve, while the Saints have a healthy offensive line that consistently ranks among the best in the league. Murray and Michael Thomas will need to do the heavy lifting on offense with Kamara joined by Jared Cook (ankle) and Tre'Quan Smith (ankle) on the inactive list.

Perine signed with the Bengals' practice squad Friday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM Radio reports.

Perine was waived off Cincinnati's 53-man roster Thursday but will remain with the organization after going unclaimed on waivers. The 2017 fourth-round pick primarily played special teams during his six games on the active roster.

Mostert (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Washington, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Held out of practice the previous two days, Mostert upgraded to limited participation Friday. He's been limited to 11 carries and 31 offensive snaps in the two games since Tevin Coleman returned from an ankle injury. The 49ers will release their inactive list approximately 90 minutes before Sunday's 1 p.m. EDT kickoff.
