Walton rushed 12 times for 29 yards and caught three of four targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 26-18 win over the Jets.

Walton couldn't get much going on the ground, even against a Jets team that was missing the top four inside linebackers on its depth chart due to injuries. At least it's clear that Walton's now the lead back with Kenyan Drake out of the picture, as Walton got 12 carries to Kalen Ballage's seven. The little fantasy value to be found in Miami lies in the passing game, but Walton will at least be a strong candidate to keep receiving double-digit touches against the Colts in Week 10 and beyond.

McCaffrey carried the ball 24 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns in Week 9 against the Titans. He also added three receptions for 20 yards and another score.

McCaffrey was once again the driving force behind the Panthers' offensive production, accounting for three of the team's four touchdowns. His most explosive play came with 10 minutes left in the fourth quarter, when he cut through the middle of the field for a 58-yard touchdown. Notably, after the long score, McCaffrey went through concussion protocol and was held out of the remainder of the game due to "an abundance of caution", Brendan Marks of The Charlotte Observer reports. While it's not expected this injury will impact his status heading into the team's Week 10 matchup against the Packers, it's a situation worth following throughout the week.

Conner (shoulder) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts.

With Conner out as expected, Jaylen Samuels is in line to serve as the Steelers' top running back Sunday, while Trey Edmunds is on hand to work as the team's No. 2 backfield option in Week 9.

Mostert (knee) took his lone carry for a loss of two yards in Thursday's 28-25 win over the Cardinals.

Mostert carried a questionable tag due to a knee injury up until game day. The speedy back was able to suit up, but the drop in usage may be related to his health. We will see if his carries increase against the Seahawks next Monday, but it is clear that Mostert is firmly behind the starting duo of Tevin Coleman and Matt Breida.

Jacobs (shoulder) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Lions.

Jacobs was limited at practice all week as he managed a shoulder issue, but it's something he played through in Week 8's loss to the Texans, en route leading the Oakland backfield with 15 carries for 66 yards and two catches for 15 yards. He'll look to up his production Sunday against a Lions defense that is allowing an average of 130.7 rushing yards per game, which ranks 26th in the NFL.

Edmonds (hamstring) isn't expected to return for Week 10 against Tampa Bay, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site reports.

David Johnson (ankle) seems to be closer to making his return, and Kenyan Drake went off for 162 scrimmage yards in Thursday's 28-25 loss to the 49ers. Edmonds may still have a role in the backfield once he's healthy, but it sounds like that won't happen any sooner than Week 11, or perhaps after the Cardinals' Week 12 bye.

Jones (shoulder) put in a full practice Friday and doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Chargers, Olivia Reiner of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Jones was a limited participant in the Packers' first two practices of Week 9, but there never seemed to be much overwhelming concern about his availability to play Sunday. Expect Jones to serve in his usual capacity as the Packers' lead running back, though he could see his involvement in the passing game scaled back a little bit if top wideout Davante Adams (toe) -- who is being viewed as a game-time decision -- is cleared to play after a four-week absence.

Snell (knee) is listed as out for Sunday's game against the Colts, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.

Snell's absence comes as little surprise after Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that the rookie underwent a minor procedure to trim his meniscus following Monday's win over the Dolphins. With No. 1 back James Conner (shoulder) listed as doubtful for the Week 9 contest, Jaylen Samuels -- who is returning from a three-week absence of his own after requiring a knee scope -- is positioned to shoulder a huge workload as the Steelers' starter. Trey Edmunds is the other healthy option on the 53-man roster, but he's only logged two offensive snaps across the two games he's played this season.
