Scott carried nine times for 35 yards and caught both his targets for an additional 19 yards during Sunday's 27-17 loss to Washington.

Scott received the most carries out of the Philadelphia backfield, but he managed just 3.9 yards per rush against a tough defensive front. He made a couple of nice gains through the air but still finished with an uninspiring final stat line. Corey Clement and Jason Huntley combined for just 20 yards on seven carries, as the entire team struggled to get going after halftime. Scott was starting in place of Miles Sanders (hamstring), and he should see a diminished role if his teammate is deemed healthy enough to make his season debut in Week 2 against the Rams.

Singletary rushed nine times for 30 yards and added five catches for 23 yards on seven targets in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Jets.

Singletary was bottled up by the Jets, but so was Zack Moss (nine carries for 11 yards). Moss made up for his lack of rushing production with a four-yard receiving touchdown, while quarterback Josh Allen scored the team's lone rushing touchdown and led in both carries (14) and rushing yards (57). Singletary still has time to carve out a larger role in the crowded Buffalo backfield (given Allen's propensity to run the ball), but the second-year back will need a better performance in Week 2 against the Dolphins.

Moss rushed nine times for 11 yards and caught three of four targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-17 win over the Jets.

Moss split the rushing work evenly with Devin Singletary (nine carries for 30 yards), but it was quarterback Josh Allen who paced Buffalo's ground game with 14 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown. Allen's power-running style will likely rob Moss of some short touchdowns, but the rookie was on the field when the Bills got in close and caught a four-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Neither running back was able to separate himself in this one, so expect Moss and Singletary to see a near-even split in touches against the Dolphins in Week 2.

With fears that Marlon Mack suffered a torn Achilles against the Jaguars on Sunday, Taylor's role in the Colts' ground game is likely to expand going forward, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Taylor, whom the Colts took in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft, 41st overall, had been slated to work in a time-share with Mack, while Nyheim Hines handled change-of-pace duties for the team. With Mack now likely to miss extended time, the promising Taylor's early down profile, and in turn, his fantasy upside, now appear destined to increase.

The Colts fear that Mack suffered a torn Achilles against the Jaguars on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

If that's the case, Mack -- who has an MRI on tap -- would obviously miss extended time, while Jonathan Taylor would presumably be next up to handle the Colts' early down work, with Nyheim Hines also in the mix for added carries on top of his pass-catching duties.

Mack (ankle) won't return to Sunday's game at Jacksonville, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports.

Mack needed a cart to get off the field in the second quarter, and his right ankle injury will keep him sidelined for the rest of the contest. In Mack's stead, Nyheim Hines and rookie Jonathan Taylor will man the backfield for the Colts.

Mack was carted off the field during Sunday's game against the Jaguars after suffering an ankle injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

As long as Mack is sidelined, Nyheim Hines and Jonathan Taylor are next up for touches out of Indy's backfield. Prior to his exit from Sunday's game, Mack logged four carries for 26 yards and caught three passes for 30 yards.

Ogunbowale (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Leonard Fournette and Ogunbowale essentially swapped franchises earlier this month, as the former landed in Tampa Bay while the latter headed to Jacksonville after they were waived by the respective organizations. Unlike Fournette before him in Jacksonville, Ogunbowale won't be in line for nearly as substantial of a role, with most of the reps he earns coming in obvious passing situations. So long as Chris Thompson is healthy and available, however, Ogunbowale may become a fixture on the inactive list, as he's somewhat redundant as a second pass-catching back.

Patterson (knee) is active for Sunday's game in Detroit.

Despite carrying a questionable tag into the weekend, Patterson never looked at any real risk of missing the season opener after he turned in full practice showings Thursday and Friday. Patterson will serve as a depth option at receiver Sunday while also potentially receiving a carry or two on change-of-direction play calls.

Williams is inactive for Sunday's game against the Raiders.

Williams was promoted to the Lions' active roster Saturday, but he will not immediately suit up for the team. He slots in sixth in the depth chart, so it's unlikely he will play a key role in the Lions' offense anytime soon.
