  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: No running room against Ravens

Ekeler rushed six times for seven yards and caught four of seven targets for 48 yards in Sunday's 34-6 loss to Baltimore.

The Ravens managed to keep Ekeler and the rest of the Chargers in check, as Justin Herbert failed to reach 200 passing yards and no running back rushed for more than seven. Los Angeles' upcoming Week 7 bye will give Ekeler and company a chance to regroup, and the diminutive yet powerful running back should bounce back afterwards given his substantial role as both a rusher and a pass-catcher out of the backfield.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Abysmal effort against Jaguars

Gaskin rushed the ball five times for nine yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Jaguars. He added two receptions for five yards.

Gaskin was the beneficiary of game script for a big Week 5 effort, but he couldn't carry that momentum into Sunday's loss. He drew five of the team's 20 rushing attempts, two fewer than Salvon Ahmed. Even factoring in the limited volume he received, Gaskin did little, as his longest rush went for only four yards and he averaged just 1.8 yards per carry. Through six games, Gaskin has topped five rushing attempts only twice and surpassed 50 rushing yards in a game on one occasion.

  • Colts' Jonathan Taylor: Two TDs against Texans

Taylor rushed 14 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns while catching one of two targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 31-3 win over Houston.

Taylor powered in a four-yard touchdown in the third quarter to cap a drive that he started with an 83-yard run, then he scored again from 11 yards out in the fourth. He has now topped 100 scrimmage yards in each of his last three games, with at least one touchdown in each of those contests to boot. Taylor should continue to handle most of the touches in the Colts' backfield against the 49ers in Week 7.

  • D'Andre Swift RB | CHI

Lions' D'Andre Swift: Salvages day with late TD

Swift carried 13 times for 24 yards and one touchdown while catching five of seven targets for 43 yards during Sunday's 34-11 loss to the Bengals.

Swift was bottled up for the majority of the game before salvaging his fantasy performance with a number of receptions and a rushing score at the tail end of the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, Jamaal Williams saw a season-low five touches, but it's not clear if his reduced workload was at least partly a product of the hip injury Williams appeared on the injury report with this past week. Regardless, Swift has now seen 17.8 combined targets and carries per game through the first six weeks of the season and his usage only stands to benefit from any limitations Williams has going forward.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Bears' Khalil Herbert: Comes up big in first start

Herbert rushed 19 times for 97 yards and a touchdown while adding two receptions for 15 yards in the Bears' 24-14 loss to the Packers on Sunday.

Herbert had consistent success running the ball against a Packers defense that's struggled against the run this season, and if the Bears didn't trail for much of this contest, he may have had even better production. Even if Damien Williams (illness) returns next week, Herbert should continue to see significant work in a shared backfield until David Montgomery (knee) returns, so he should retain enough value to be a consideration for fantasy lineups for the next few weeks.

  • Football Team's Antonio Gibson: Hurts calf Sunday

Gibson injured his calf during Sunday's game against the Chiefs, Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus reports.

Gibson was examined for a shin injury early in the contest but was able to return to action. Now, he's again being looked at by Washington trainers, only this time a calf issue is to blame. If he's unable to get back on the field, Gibson will finish Week 6 with 12 touches for 44 total yards. In Gibson's stead, J.D. McKissic will be the prime beneficiary, though undrafted rookie Jaret Patterson could get some run, too.

  • Ravens' Latavius Murray: Suffers ankle injury

Murray was forced out of Sunday's game against the Chargers with an ankle injury, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Prior to his exit from the contest, Murray had logged nine carries for 44 yards and a touchdown to go with two catches for 12 yards. With Murray banged up, Devonta Freeman and Le'Veon Bell are in line to handle the Ravens' backfield duties for the rest of the day.

  • Eno Benjamin RB | NO

Cardinals' Eno Benjamin: Inactive once again

Benjamin (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Browns, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Benjamin was active for the first time in his career in Week 5. However, he did not log an offensive snap and will be inactive once again with Chase Edmonds (shoulder) ready to go.

  • J.J. Taylor RB | HOU

    Patriots' J.J. Taylor: Inactive Sunday

Taylor (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

With Taylor unavailable, Damien Harris, Rhamondre Stevenson and Brandon Bolden will handle the Patriots' Week 6 backfield duties.

  • Damien Harris RB | BUF

Patriots' Damien Harris: Active versus Cowboys

Harris (ribs) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Cowboys.

Harris was forced out of last weekend's win over the Texans, but he was able to practice in a limited fashion Thursday and Friday and will give it a go Sunday. If the Patriots' top back ends up limited at all or suffers any setbacks against Dallas, added backfield touches would be available for Rhamondre Stevenson and Brandon Bolden.
