  • 49ers' Elijah Mitchell: Being evaluated for head injury

Mitchell is under evaluation for a head injury during Sunday's game in Seattle, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Mitchell took an elbow to his helmet on a carry late in the third quarter on which he lost the ball. Ultimately, a fumble was overturned as his knee was down before the ball came loose, but the running back required immediate medical attention and went to the blue sideline tent to be examined. If he's unable to return, Mitchell will end Week 13 with 18 carries for 54 yards and one touchdown and two catches (on two targets) for seven yards. Jeff Wilson and JaMycal Hasty are the other healthy RBs on the 49ers' active roster.

  • Myles Gaskin RB | SEA

Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Stalls against Giants

Gaskin carried the ball 15 times for 44 yards in Sunday's 20-9 win over the Giants. He added two receptions for five yards.

Gaskin continued to see plenty of volume, as he reached 15 total touches for the seventh consecutive game. However, he was unable to find the end zone, so his inefficiency finally caught up to him. Gaskin has averaged under four yards per carry in each of his last six contests, though four touchdowns in that span masked his otherwise poor performances. Despite the inefficiency, so long as Malcolm Brown (quadriceps) is unable to return to the field, Gaskin should continue to serve as the clear lead back in the Dolphins offense and thus have the chance to rack up production based on volume alone.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Cardinals' James Conner: Strong performance as lead back

Conner rushed 20 times for 75 yards and brought in both targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals' 33-22 win over the Bears on Sunday.

Once again serving in an unquestioned lead-back role, Conner turned in a solid workmanlike performance and topped off his fantasy performance with a 23-yard touchdown reception in the latter portion of the second quarter. Conner has now handled a 20-carry workload in three of the last four games, a span during which he's also recorded multiple grabs and contributed a pair of receiving touchdowns. Conner should once again have a significant role through both the ground and air in a critical NFC West Monday night showdown against the Rams in Week 14.

  • Austin Ekeler RB | WAS

Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Two fumbles in win

Ekeler carried the ball 14 times for 59 yards and a touchdown and caught all five of his targets for 45 yards in Sunday's 41-22 win over the Bengals. He also lost two fumbles.

Ekeler uncharacteristically fumbled twice, losing control of the ball immediately after securing receptions in both the second and third quarter. Those miscues lessened what should have been another stellar fantasy day considering the multi-talented back scored a touchdown in his fourth consecutive game. Ekeler has admitted this season's additional workload has been challenging, but with the Chargers struggling to find any sort of reliable change-of-pace option, expect the 26-year-old to continue shouldering the heavy majority of the load out of the backfield.

  • Lions' Godwin Igwebuike: Three touches sans Swift

Igwebuike rushed twice for eight yards while catching one of two targets for 13 yards during Sunday's 29-27 win over the Vikings.

Igwebuike saw an uptick in offensive snaps with D'Andre Swift (shoulder) sidelined, but he didn't do much before the final minutes of the game. He'll remain irrelevant in most fantasy formats even if Swift remains sidelined in Week 14 against Denver.

  • Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ

Bears' Khalil Herbert: Minimal work in loss

Herbert rushed four times for 16 yards and caught his only target for 11 yards in the Bears' 33-22 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Herbert's 27 yards were five more yards than he had in the last three games combined since David Montgomery returned to the lineup in Week 9. Unless Montgomery misses more time, Herbert's likely to have very limited fantasy value.

  • Falcons' Cordarrelle Patterson: Rushing success in tough matchup

Patterson rushed 13 times for 78 yards and brought in three of five targets for 18 yards in the Falcons' 30-17 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also recovered a fumble.

Patterson surprisingly found some success against the Buccaneers' typically impenetrable run defense, though a bulk of his production came on a 39-yard run. Nevertheless, it was Patterson's saving grace from a fantasy perspective and served as his second-highest rushing yardage tally of the season. The versatile veteran's next opportunity to wreak havoc on a defense comes in a Week 14 visit to the division-rival Panthers.

  • Saquon Barkley RB | PHI

Giants' Saquon Barkley: Held to 74 total yards

Barkley recorded 11 carries for 55 yards in Sunday's 20-9 loss to the Dolphins. He added six receptions on nine targets for 19 yards.

The Giants ran the ball only 17 times while taking to the air on 44 occasions. As a result, Barkley's primary opportunity to produce came through the air, and he was able to rack up six receptions for the third time this season. He also displayed some burst as a runner, turning in two rushes that went for double-digit yards. His longest carry went for a gain of 23, which was only his third rush of 20 yards or more on the campaign. On a bit more of an optimistic note, Barkley has earned 17 total touches in consecutive games heading into a Week 14 matchup against the Chargers.

  • Kenyan Drake RB | GB

Raiders' Kenyan Drake: Exits Sunday's game

Drake injured his ankle during Sunday's game against Washington.

With Drake ruled out for the remainder of the contest and Jalen Richard (reserve/COVID-19 list) unavailable, Peyton Barber is on hand to spell lead back Josh Jacobs. Prior to his injury, Drake logged one carry for no gain and caught one of his two targets for eight yards.

  • Joe Mixon RB | HOU

Bengals' Joe Mixon: Hurts neck in Week 13 loss

Mixon revealed after Sunday's 41-22 loss to the Chargers that he hurt his neck during the game, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The running back was still able to log 19 carries for 54 yards and a TD (with a lost fumble) in the contest, but it will still be worth monitoring his status as next Sunday's game against the 49ers approaches. If Mixon ends up missing any practice time, Samaje Perine would be next up for the team's running back reps.
