Travis Homer RB | PIT
Seahawks' Travis Homer: Leaves with injury
Homer (ribs) exited early against the Falcons on Sunday.
Homer suffered the injury in the first quarter. Although he's No. 3 on the team's depth chart, he still played 45 percent of the offensive snaps in Week 2, and is typically featured on passing downs. If Homer can't return, DeeJay Dallas may step into that role.

Joe Mixon RB | HOU
Bengals' Joe Mixon: Slow start on ground continues
Mixon rushed 12 times for 24 yards and caught three of seven targets for 14 yards in Sunday's 27-12 win over the Jets.
Joe Burrow carved up New York's secondary for three touchdowns, but Mixon didn't find much room to operate on the ground. Samaje Perine's superior pass protection has earned the backup playing time at Mixon's expense in passing situations, which is why Perine was on the field to score a 12-yard touchdown on third down to cap the Bengals' opening drive. Averaging just 2.8 yards per carry behind Cincinnati's struggling offensive line and seeing limited usage in the passing game, Mixon's off to an underwhelming start heading into Thursday's Week 4 matchup with the Dolphins. The short week comes at an inopportune time, as coach Zac Taylor described Mixon's ankle as "a little sore" after the game, per James Rapien of Sports Illustrated.

Alvin Kamara RB | NO
Saints' Alvin Kamara: Struggles in return
Kamara (ribs) rushed 15 times for 61 yards while catching two of seven targets for 12 yards and losing a fumble in Sunday's 22-14 loss to the Panthers.
Kamara suited up after sitting out in Week 2 but appeared to be far from 100 percent. His first-quarter fumble near midfield was returned for a touchdown by Carolina's defense, and Kamara watched Mark Ingram punch in a five-yard touchdown in the third. Jameis Winston has shown much less interest in checking down to Kamara compared to previous Saints quarterbacks, as Kamara has just 19 receiving yards on the season heading into the Week 4 London game against the Vikings.

Christian McCaffrey RB | SF
Panthers' Christian McCaffrey: Tops century mark again
McCaffrey rushed 25 times for 108 yards and caught two of four targets for seven yards in Sunday's 22-14 win over the Saints.
McCaffrey fueled the Panthers offense with his production on the ground, topping 100 yards for the second straight game. He also racked up a season-high 27 total touches and has increased his tally each week so far. Although he still sports just one touchdown on the campaign, McCaffrey has managed to produce despite Carolina's offense having yet to click under quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Hurts shoulder in Week 3
Cook won't return to Sunday's game against the Lions after suffering a shoulder injury.
Prior to exiting the contest, Cook carried 17 times for 96 yards and a TD. Next up for the team's carries should Cook miss time beyond Sunday's contest is Alexander Mattison.

Keaontay Ingram RB | KC
Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: No debut in Week 3
Ingram (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Ingram seemingly had a chance to dress for the first time in his career with James Conner (ankle) questionable for Week 3, but the latter is available Sunday, and the former's pro debut will have to wait at least another week. The rookie sixth-round pick thus will be in street clothes Sunday while Conner, Darrel Williams, Eno Benjamin and Jonathan Ward serve as Arizona's available running backs.
-
James Conner RB | ARI
Cardinals' James Conner: Available in Week 3
Conner (ankle) is listed as active Sunday against the Rams, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Conner was knocked out of the Cardinals' Week 2 win at Las Vegas with an ankle injury, which kept him to limited practices Thursday and Friday in advance of Sunday's contest. Coach Kliff Kingsbury termed Conner a game-time decision, and after a pregame workout he'll be available to Arizona's backfield. Typically, Conner would dominate the touches afforded the team's running backs, but Kingsbury may opt for a rare timeshare of sorts between Conner, Darrel Williams and Eno Benjamin. As a result, it's tough to forecast exactly how much work Conner may receive this weekend.

David Montgomery RB | HOU
Bears' David Montgomery: Exits Sunday's game
Montgomery was forced out of Sunday's game against the Texans with a knee/ankle injury, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports.
Prior to his exit from the contest, Montgomery carried three times for 11 yards. In his absence, Khalil Herbert is next up for the Bears' backfield touches, with Trestan Ebner in reserve.

David Montgomery RB | HOU
Bears' David Montgomery: Injures leg Sunday
Montgomery suffered an apparent injury to his lower right leg during Sunday's game against the Texans, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
Montgomery remained on the turf during the Bears' second drive of the game and eventually required assistance from team trainers to get to the sideline. He paid a visit to the sideline tent and eventually went to the locker room, but the nature of his health concern isn't known. Khalil Herbert entered the contest in Montgomery's place.

Raheem Blackshear RB | NYJ
Panthers' Raheem Blackshear: Will sit Sunday
Blackshear (coach's decision) is inactive Sunday against the Saints, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports.
Blackshear was signed off the Bills' practice squad Wednesday. What role he may ultimately earn with the Panthers remains to be seen, however the rookie will sit for his first game with the team.
