AJ Dillon RB | CAR
Packers' AJ Dillon: Limited to six carries
Dillon rushed the ball six times for 34 yards in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Giants.
Dillon saw a season-low six touches, with Aaron Jones instead racking up 13 carries. Dillon was effective with his limited work, highlighted by gains of 11 and seven yards. Also notable was his lack of involvement as a receiver, as he failed to record a reception or be targeted for the first time in a game this season. Dillon has been a fantasy disappointment through five weeks, tallying only 245 rushing yards, 69 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Austin Ekeler RB | WAS
Chargers' Austin Ekeler: Sets career high in rushing yards
Ekeler carried the ball 16 times for 173 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-28 win over the Browns. He also caught all four of his targets for 26 yards and an additional score.
The Chargers gashed the Browns run defense to the tune of 238 total yards with Ekeler once again putting together a monster performance, setting a career high in rushing yards in the win. After starting the season off slow, Ekeler now has 223 rushing yards and 75 receiving yards to go along with five touchdowns over the past two weeks. Expect narrower running lanes in a pivotal AFC West battle against the Broncos next week.

Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Reduced role in Montgomery's return
Herbert rushed four times for 11 yards in Sunday's 29-22 loss to the Vikings.
Herbert took a back seat as usual starting tailback David Montgomery returned to the lineup. Not only did Montgomery get three times as many carries as Herbert while scoring on the ground, but he also led the Bears with four catches for 62 yards. Despite his recent production with Montgomery slowed, Herbert's stock takes a significant hit with the veteran back in action.

Najee Harris RB | LAC
Steelers' Najee Harris: Inefficient in blowout loss
Harris rushed 11 times for 20 yards while securing three of four targets for 16 yards during the Steelers' 38-3 loss to the Bills on Sunday.
Harris racked up a season-high 74 rushing yards during last week's loss to the Jets, but he averaged just 1.8 yards per carry during Sunday's blowout loss in Buffalo. Although the 2021 first-rounder had another discouraging performance to begin the year, he was facing a stingy run defense with an unfavorable game script since the Steelers fell behind early. Harris will face another tough test against the Buccaneers at home next week.

David Montgomery RB | HOU
Bears' David Montgomery: Productive in return
Montgomery rushed 12 times for 20 yards and a touchdown and caught all four of his targets for 62 yards in Sunday's 27-22 loss to the Vikings.
Montgomery returned from last week's injury absence to score his first touchdown of the campaign with a nine-yard rush during the second quarter. Despite his ankle limiting him during the practice week, Montgomery still led Chicago's backfield, with backup Khalil Herbert garnering just four carries for 11 yards. Furthermore, with help from a long gain of 30 yards, Montgomery paced the Bears through the air, contributing a strong all-around showing after his brief sideline stint.
-
Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Scores twice in win
Cook rushed 18 times for 94 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 29-22 win over the Bears. He also caught both of his targets for 27 yards.
Cook opened the scoring with a one-yard plunge during the first quarter, before punching in a five-yard touchdown to begin the second. Along with totaling his third game with at least 90 yards on the ground, Cook's couple catches helped him set a season high for scrimmage yards thus far. With his performance contributing toward the Vikings now sitting in first place in the NFC North, Cook approaches Week 6's matchup versus the Dolphins in fine form.

Keaontay Ingram RB | KC
Cardinals' Keaontay Ingram: Debut delayed again
Ingram (coach's decision) is listed as inactive Sunday against the Eagles, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
With the rest of Arizona's backfield healthy and available, Ingram's pro debut again will have to wait until Week 6, at the earliest. The rookie sixth-round pick is taking a seat while James Conner serves as the team's lead runner, Eno Benjamin and Darrel Williams are around for any touches that don't go to Conner, and Jonathan Ward handles his customary special-teams role.
-
Rashaad Penny RB | CAR
Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Hurts left ankle Sunday
Penny suffered a left ankle injury during Sunday's game in New Orleans, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Penny picked up the health concern on a carry during Seattle's first possession of the second half and needed a cart to get to the locker room. If he's unable to reenter the contest, he'll come out of Week 5 with eight rushes for 54 yards. Rookie second-round pick Kenneth Walker and DeeJay Dallas are the remaining healthy running backs on the active roster.
-
Jonathan Williams RB | WAS
Commanders' Jonathan Williams: Won't return Sunday
Williams has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Titans due to a knee injury.
Williams played primarily on special teams before leaving the contest in the second half due to a knee injury. The Commanders have a short week and play again Thursday, so the knee injury could hinder the running back's availability for Week 6 as well.

Rashaad Penny RB | CAR
Seahawks' Rashaad Penny: Injures left leg Sunday
Penny was carted to the locker room during Sunday's game at New Orleans due to an injury to his lower left leg, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
Penny was examined by the Seahawks' training staff on the team's first drive of the second half before the decision was made to take him to the locker room. If he's unable to return, he'll finish Week 5 with eight carries for 54 yards.
