  • Jaguars' James Robinson: Struggles again in loss

Robinson rushed 10 times for 27 yards and caught both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 13-6 loss to Houston.

Robinson was outperformed by Travis Etienne (13 touches for 114 yards) for the second week in a row, despite both backs getting a nearly even split in touches. This trend doesn't bode well for the veteran of the duo, as Robinson saw most of his fantasy production this season come from a three-game burst to open the year. The 2-3 Jaguars will face a tough defense on the road against the Colts next Sunday, making Robinson a touchdown-dependent flex play at best.

  • Bills' Devin Singletary: Limited in big Week 5 win

Singletary rushed six times for 42 yards and brought in one of two targets for four yards in the Bills' 38-3 win over the Steelers on Sunday.

Singletary was highly efficient with his rushing workload, but he had precious few opportunities to build on his success despite the Bills boasting a comfortable lead most of the game. The fourth-year back has logged double-digit carries only once this season, Sunday, he gave way to rookie James Cook once the game was completely out of hand. Singletary and his fantasy managers will perhaps see more opportunity on his behalf in a Week 6 road showdown against the Chiefs.

  • Cardinals' Darrel Williams: Picks up knee injury Sunday

Williams left Sunday's game due to a knee injury, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

In the waning moments of the third quarter, Williams was evaluated by team trainers on the sideline before walking to the locker room. This marks three Cardinals running back that got hurt Sunday after James Conner exited earlier with a rib concern and Jonathan Ward suffered a hamstring injury shortly after Williams. If Conner, Williams and Ward are unable to reenter the contest, Eno Benjamin will handle most of the work out of the backfield, as rookie sixth-round pick Keaontay Ingram was inactive again.

  • Joshua Kelley RB | TEN

Chargers' Joshua Kelley: First TD of year

Kelley carried the ball 10 times for 49 yards and a touchdown in the 30-28 win over the Browns on Sunday. He also caught both of his targets for 33 yards.

Kelley tallied the second-most receiving yards on the team Sunday in what amounted to a heavy attack on the ground. It's entirely possible head coach Brandon Staley and company simply chose to ride the hot hand, but it's worth pointing out Kelley tallied 10 carries to Sony Michel's one, a possible sign the platoon backup backfield situation could be seeing a new hierarchy taking place. In any case, the third-year back still remains firmly behind Austin Ekeler, who set a career high in rushing yards Sunday and also scored two touchdowns.

  • Jaguars' Travis Etienne: Goes for 114 yards on 13 touches

Etienne logged 10 carries for 71 yards and caught three of five targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 13-6 loss to Houston.

Etienne and James Robinson (10 carries for 27 yards) split the backfield work nearly evenly again, but it was the former who finished with the better fantasy line for the second week in a row. One of the bigger busts in fantasy through four weeks, Etienne's big game brings his combined yardage average up to 67.8 through five weeks, albeit with no touchdowns. Robinson (four total touchdowns) could maintain superior fantasy value as he is the preferred back near the goal line, but the two backs could see their stocks move in opposite directions if recent results are any indication of future value. It will be interesting to see if head coach Doug Pederson gives Etienne more early-down work in a tough divisional matchup against the Colts next Sunday.

  • Derrick Henry RB | BAL

Titans' Derrick Henry: Scores twice, tops 100 yards

Henry rushed the ball 28 times for 102 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 21-17 win over the Commanders. He added two receptions for 30 yards.

As usual, Henry was the driving force behind the Tennessee offense, accounting for two of the team's three touchdowns. Both came on one-yard rushes, but he also had two carries that went for more than 10 yards while adding a 24-yard reception. Henry now has three consecutive games with over 100 total yards and at least one touchdown.

  • Michael Carter RB | TEN

Jets' Michael Carter: Scores first two TDs of 2022

Carter rushed 10 times for 21 yards and two touchdowns while catching both of his targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 40-17 win over the Dolphins.

Carter punched in his first touchdown of the season from one yard out to open the second quarter after Breece Hall did the heavy lifting to get New York down there with a 79-yard catch. In the fourth, a 21-yard Hall catch was followed by a one-yard Carter touchdown. Hall ultimately racked up 197 scrimmage yards to Carter's 33, so there's no question who the lead back is in New York, though this game showed that it's possible for both to find success in the right circumstances. Carter will likely continue to play a complementary role behind Hall in Week 6 against the Packers.

  • James Conner RB | ARI

Cardinals' James Conner: Exits Sunday with rib injury

Conner departed Sunday's game against the Eagles due to a rib issue, Kent Somers of The Arizona Republic reports.

Prior to picking up the injury, Conner reeled off 55 yards on nine carries and hauled in his only target for eight yards. If Conner is unable to return, Darrel Williams and Eno Benjamin will split work out of the Cardinals backfield.

  • Breece Hall RB | NYJ

Jets' Breece Hall: Just shy of 200 scrimmage yards

Hall rushed 18 times for 97 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for 100 yards in Sunday's 40-17 win over the Dolphins.

Hall capped his 79-yard catch in the first quarter by dragging a defender nearly 20 yards, but he was ultimately tackled just short of the goal line. Michael Carter scored a one-yard touchdown on the next play, and a similar script unfolded in the fourth, when Carter scored from one yard out after a 21-yard Hall catch. Hall finally found the end zone himself from five yards out later in the fourth quarter, giving the rookie second-round pick a touchdown in three of his last four games. Carter's presence keeps Hall from taking on a true workhorse role, but Hall has emerged as one of the league's most explosive young running backs heading into a Week 6 trip to Green Bay.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Expanded role likely

Walker carried eight times for 88 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 39-32 loss to the Saints.

Walker made his mark Sunday with a 69-yard scoring jaunt in the fourth quarter, and with fellow back Rashaad Penny having suffered what head coach Pete Carroll described as a "serious" ankle injury, accordingGregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune, the rookie second-round pick looks set to see an expanded role in Seattle's offense, beginning with the Seahawks' Week 6 game against the Cardinals. Look for more context regarding Penny's injury to surface no later than Monday, but Walker could be on track for a multi-game run as Seattle's clear-cut lead back. The Seahawks also have DeeJay Dallas on hand and Travis Homer (ribs) perhaps on track to return from injured reserve later this month, but both profile more as change-of-pace backs than true challengers to Walker for the top spot on the depth chart.
