  • Joshua Kelley RB | TEN

Chargers' Joshua Kelley: Hurts knee on MNF

Kelley (knee) is questionable to return to Monday's game against the Broncos.

Kelley went to the blue medical tent, then exited it and began riding the stationary bike along the sideline. While his injury doesn't appear to be too serious based on that series of events, it remains to be seen whether Kelley can return Monday. Sony Michel will be an option to spell Austin Ekeler while Kelley is sidelined.

  • Cam Akers RB | SEA

Rams' Cam Akers: Return to team not out of question

Coach Sean McVay said the Rams haven't ruled out the possibility of Akers (personal) returning to the team, though McVay acknowledged that their preferred path forward would be trading the running back, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

Akers sat out Week 6 against the Panthers with the Rams trying to find the running back "a fresh new start with another team" in McVay's words. "I will say a lot of these types of discussions go on and nothing comes to fruition," McVay added. If such a scenario unfolds with Akers' trade discussions, the Rams haven't ruled out attempting to reintegrate him into the offense.

  • Chuba Hubbard RB | CAR

Panthers' Chuba Hubbard: Gets three touches

Hubbard rushed twice for six yards and caught his only target for another yard in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Rams.

Hubbard played only four offensive snaps but broke his two-game stretch without a touch. With P.J. Walker suffering a neck injury, the Panthers lost their fourth quarterback of the season Sunday, resulting in a bit more run than usual for Hubbard and D'Onta Foreman. However, as long as star Christian McCaffrey is healthy, both tailbacks hold limited fantasy value.

  • Boston Scott RB | PIT

Eagles' Boston Scott: Carries ball six times

Scott rushed for 16 yards on a season-high six carries in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.

Scott out-carried fellow depth running back Kenneth Gainwell, 6-5, rushing the ball more than either back had gotten the chance to in any previous game this season. That still added up to a very modest overall performance, however, and it's unlikely Scott makes a much larger impact on future games if he continues to see the field for just 10 snaps like he did against Dallas.

  • D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE

Panthers' D'Onta Foreman: Garners five carries

Foreman rushed five times for 19 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Rams.

Foreman's 10 offensive snaps topped fellow backup Chuba Hubbard's four. Although that involvement yielded a season high in carries, Foreman's production remained limited overall. With the Panthers seeing another quarterback injured Sunday, they could rely more on the ground game in Week 7 versus the Bucs, but Foreman's stock is nonetheless capped by Christian McCaffrey's dynamic presence above him.

  • Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Sets season high with 25 yards

Gainwell rushed for a season-high 25 yards on five carries in Sunday's win over the Cowboys.

Gainwell got the Eagles into the red zone to set up their first score with a nine-yard rush late in the first quarter, but his overall impact on the game remained small even in a season-best performance. He only saw the field for 17 offensive snaps, well below Miles Sanders' 44, with the Eagles showing no inclination to move to a more even split.

  • Melvin Gordon RB | BAL

Broncos' Melvin Gordon: Suits up Monday

Gordon (neck/ribs) is listed as active for Monday night's game against the Chargers.

Gordon was limited in practice this past week, but he'll be out there Monday night, and barring any in-game setbacks he's in line to continue to lead Denver's backfield, with Mike Boone and possibly Latavius Murray also factoring into the mix given that Javonte Williams (knee) is out for the rest of the season. They'll be facing a Chargers defense that has allowed an average of 130.4 rushing yards per game to date.

  • Spencer Brown RB | ATL

Spencer Brown: Tries out with Carolina

The Panthers brought in Brown (ankle) for a workout Monday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Brown reverted to Carolina's IR after being waived with an ankle injury as part of the team's final roster cuts, though he quickly secured an injury settlement Sept. 7. The 23-year-old running back now appears to be past this issue after working out with the team again Tuesday. Brown did not play a snap during his lone appearance with the Panthers last season, and he has yet to record a rush in his professional career.

  • Eno Benjamin RB | NO

Cardinals' Eno Benjamin: Limited on estimated report

Benjamin was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate due to a foot injury, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

With James Conner (ribs) and Darrel Williams (knee) sidelined Sunday at Seattle, Benjamin paced Arizona's backfield to the tune of an 87 percent share of offensive snaps (62 of 71) en route to 18 touches for 65 yards from scrimmage. As for the other healthy RBs, rookie Keaontay Ingram took three carries for seven yards on nine plays on offense, while Corey Clement was used exclusively on special teams. Now Benjamin is dealing with an injury of his own, though he at least would have practiced if the Cardinals had held a session Monday. The same can't be said for DNPs Conner and Williams. The next few days of prep will determine if Benjamin again is in line to be the team's primary back Thursday against the Saints.

  • ZaQuandre White: Let go Monday

White was cut from the Dolphins' practice squad Monday, Alain Poupart of SI.com reports.

White joined Miami in the spring as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina. After failing to make the 53-man roster, he signed on with the team's practice squad. He'll now work to find an opportunity elsewhere.
