Myles Gaskin RB | SEA
Dolphins' Myles Gaskin: Still healthy scratch post-deadline
Gaskin (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Bears.
Gaskin will be a healthy scratch for a third consecutive game. There was speculation that Gaskin's role may increase in Week 9 after Miami traded Chase Edmonds to Denver, but newly acquired Jeff Wilson is active, leaving Gaskin out of the mix again. As long as Raheem Mostert, Salvon Ahmed and Wilson are healthy, it seems unlikely Gaskin will be available moving forward.

Rhamondre Stevenson RB | NE
Patriots' Rhamondre Stevenson: Slated to see expanded role Sunday
With Damien Harris (illness) inactive, Stevenson is in line for an expanded workload Sunday against the Colts, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
When Harris was sidelined in Week 6, Stevenson was on the field for 60 of a possible 70 snaps on offense en route to rushing 19 times for 76 yards and two TDs, whole adding four catches on five targets for 15 yards. This time around, Stevenson once again figures to be busy against an Indianapolis defense that is allowing an average of 120 rushing yards per game, while J.J. Taylor and Pierre Strong are available to work in complementary roles.

Pierre Strong Jr. RB | GB
Patriots' Pierre Strong: Listed as active Sunday
Strong (hamstring) is listed as active for Sunday's game against the Colts, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
With Damien Harris (illness) inactive for the contest, look for Rhamondre Stevenson to handle the bulk of the Patriots' backfield duties on Sunday, while J.J. Taylor and Strong are available to work in complementary roles. Neither of two backups are high-percentage fantasy lineup options in Week 9, however.

Zack Moss RB | CIN
Colts' Zack Moss: Won't play Sunday
Moss is inactive for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Moss who was traded from the Bills along with a conditional 2023 sixth-round pick on Tuesday in exchange for Nyheim Hines, will sit this one out, with Deon Jackson, Phillip Lindsay and Jordan Wilkins slated to handle the Colts' Week 9 backfield duties, given that top back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) is inactive.

Damien Harris RB | BUF
Patriots' Damien Harris: Inactive Sunday
Harris (illness) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Colts, Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site reports.
With Harris unavailable, Rhamondre Stevenson should be in line to see a heavy workload versus Indianapolis on Sunday, while Pierre Strong and J.J. Taylor are on hand to work in complementary roles. The Patriots are on bye next week, so Harris' next chance to see game action will occur on Nov. 20, when the team hosts the Jets.

D'Andre Swift RB | CHI
Lions' D'Andre Swift: Suiting up in Week 9
Swift (ankle/shoulder) is listed as active Sunday against the Packers.
While Swift is healthy enough to play, the Lions are taking a cautious approach with their No. 1 running back as he continues to tend to ankle and shoulder issues. Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Swift likely will handle a role similar to his Week 8 workload, when he played 52 percent of the offensive snaps and notched 10 touches for 33 yards from scrimmage and a receiving TD. As a result, Jamaal Williams, who tallied 76 total yards and two rushing scores last Sunday versus the Dolphins, again may be on the better end of Detroit's backfield breakdown for fantasy purposes Week 9.

James Robinson RB | NO
Jets' James Robinson: Active against Buffalo
Robinson (knee) is active Week 9 against the Bills.
Robinson was a late addition to this week's injury report and at one point considered a true game-time call, but reports from Sunday morning indicated the team had optimism its newly-acquired running back would make it on the gameday roster. That will be confirmed with the official inactives report, which clears Robinson to contribute as much as his health will allow. He'll still be serving behind presumed starter Michael Carter, and it's also worth noting the Bills are one of the toughest defenses against opposing running backs this season. Buffalo has only allowed one touchdown to opposing backs all year and is giving up the third-fewest fantasy points per game to RBs in standard scoring formats.

James Conner RB | ARI
Cardinals' James Conner: Trending toward playing Sunday
The Cardinals plan to test Conner (ribs) out during pre-game warmups, with Adam Schefter of ESPN indicating that the running back is likely to play Sunday against the Seahawks.
Conner is officially listed as questionable for the contest after practicing in a limited fashion this week, with his Week 9 status set to be confirmed either way when the Cardinals' inactives are posted ahead of the team's 4:05 ET kickoff. Eno Benjamin and Keaontay Ingram are on hand to log added snaps Sunday if Conner experiences any setbacks in warmups or in-game (if active).

James Robinson RB | NO
Jets' James Robinson: Likely to play Sunday
Robinson (knee) is in line to play Sunday against the Bills, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Prior to his trade from the Jaguars to the Jets on Oct. 24, Robinson was dealing with a sore knee, according to his old coach Doug Pederson. But Robinson avoided Week 8 practice reports with his new team and suited up last Sunday versus the Patriots, turning a 21 percent snap share into five carries for 17 yards. He did the same during Week 9 prep until the Jets added him to the report Saturday as questionable due to a knee injury. Assuming he's active Sunday, as expected, Robinson seems destined to play second fiddle to Michael Carter out of the backfield, with Ty Johnson also on hand for lingering RB reps.

Kenyan Drake RB | GB
Ravens' Kenyan Drake: Likely to start for Edwards
Drake is expected to replace Gus Edwards (hamstring) -- who is listed as doubtful -- as Baltimore's lead option on the ground in Monday's game against the Saints, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.
After Edwards exited early in the Ravens' Week 8 win over the Buccaneers with the hamstring injury, Drake stepped in to play 57 percent of Baltimore's offensive snaps while finishing with 62 yards on seven carries to go with four receptions for five yards and a touchdown. In addition to his expected role as the Ravens' top ball carrier, Drake will likely continue to see some involvement as a pass catcher, though Justice Hill projects to have a role as Baltimore's main change-of-pace option. Even so, with Edwards likely out of the lineup and with six teams on bye Week 9, Drake looks to be a reasonable flex option in the majority of fantasy leagues.
