Aaron Jones RB | MIN
Packers' Aaron Jones: Restructures contract for 2023
Jones and the Packers agreed Friday to restructure his contract for the 2023 season to an $11 million salary with an $8.52 million signing bonus, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Jones' decision to restructure allows for Green Bay to retain him for the 2023 campaign rather than release him, and as noted by Schefter, he will still have two additional years remaining on his deal. The 28-year-old remains an integral component of the Packers' offense, and his presence will be key in maintaining efficient team production in 2023 regardless of whether quarterback Aaron Rodgers ultimately remains the starter. Jones racked up 1,516 scrimmage yards and seven total touchdowns while playing all 17 games in 2022, maintaining an exceptional 5.3 YPC.

La'Mical Perine RB | PIT
Chiefs' La'Mical Perine: Returning to Kansas City
The Chiefs signed Perine to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Perine didn't actually suit up for a game with Kansas City after signing to the practice squad in late January, but he will get a chance to compete for a role this offseason. The running back was elevated for a game with Miami but didn't handle any snaps, and he also spent time on the Eagles' practice squad early in the 2022 campaign.

Jerrion Ealy WR | KC
Chiefs' Jerrion Ealy: Signs new deal with Chiefs
Kansas City signed Ealy to a reserve/future contract Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Ealy bounced on and off the Chiefs' practice squad as an undrafted rookie during the 2022 campaign, but he wasn't afforded a chance to make his NFL debut. Now, the young wideout who played running back during his time at Ole Miss will get a chance to continue his development with Kansas City.

Dalvin Cook RB | DAL
Vikings' Dalvin Cook: Undergoing shoulder procedure
Cook underwent surgery Tuesday to address a shoulder injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Cook started all 17 games for the Vikings in 2022 -- the first such full season of his career -- despite continuing to manage a lingering shoulder injury initially suffered back in 2019. The 27-year-old rushed for 1,173 yards and eight touchdowns on 264 carries last season, with another 39 catches for 295 yards and two scores on 56 targets, though his 4.4 yards per carry was a career-low mark. Cook's shoulder surgery could affect his availability for the start of OTAs, but as long as he's fully healthy by the start of the 2023 campaign, the four-time Pro Bowler will be in good position for another productive fantasy season as one of the Vikings' top offensive playmakers.

Qadree Ollison RB | PIT
Jaguars' Qadree Ollison: Joins Jacksonville
Ollison signed with the Jaguars on Monday.
Ollison was selected in the fifth round of the 2019 Draft by the Falcons, appearing in 19 games for the team over a three-year span. He also spent time with the Cowboys last season, appearing in three games but only contributing on special teams. He'll work to make more of an impact in Jacksonville during the 2023 campaign.

Jerick McKinnon RB | KC
Chiefs' Jerick McKinnon: Totals 49 yards in Super Bowl win
McKinnon carried the ball four times for 34 yards in Sunday's 38-35 Super Bowl win over the Eagles. He added three receptions for 15 yards.
McKinnon remained in a clear backup role to Isiah Pacheco, though he made the most of his opportunities. His best sequence came on the Chiefs' opening possession of the second half, when he racked up 21 rushing yards to help set up a touchdown for Pacheco. McKinnon will hit free agency this offseason, though Kansas City may be inclined to bring him back on a short-term deal to continue to pair with Pacheco.

Miles Sanders RB | DAL
Eagles' Miles Sanders: Diminished role against Chiefs
Sanders recorded seven carries for 16 yards in Sunday's 38-35 Super Bowl loss to the Chiefs. He failed to catch his only target.
Sanders left the game early in the first quarter and was spotted jogging back to the locker room. He returned after missing only one series but wasn't effective. In addition to being inefficient on the ground, he dropped his only target, which nearly resulted in a touchdown for the Chiefs. Sanders now will hit free agency, so his ultimate landing spot and potential workload remain unclear for 2023.

Isiah Pacheco RB | DET
Chiefs' Isiah Pacheco: Big effort in Super Bowl win
Pacheco carried the ball 15 times for 76 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-35 Super Bowl win over the Eagles.
Pacheco dominated work out of the Chiefs backfield, out-carrying Jerick McKinnon, 15-4. He was productive with the work, highlighted by a long gain of 24 yards and also a one-yard touchdown plunge midway through the third quarter. After a surprisingly impressive rookie season during which he posted 830 rushing yards and five touchdowns across 17 regular-season games, Pacheco is likely to factor heavily into Kansas City's offensive plans in 2023.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Sitting out Super Bowl
Edwards-Helaire (coach's decision) is listed as inactive for Super Bowl LVII against the Eagles on Sunday.
Sidelined since suffering a high-ankle sprain Week 11, Edwards-Helaire had a chance to return to action for the Super Bowl when the Chiefs activated him from injured reserve Monday. That said, the team will continue to roll with the combination of Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon out of the backfield, relegating Edwards-Helaire to a healthy scratch Sunday. Behind Pacheco and McKinnon, Ronald Jones also will be available to Kansas City's offense.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire RB | KC
Chiefs' Clyde Edwards-Helaire: Comes off IR ahead of Super Bowl
The Chiefs activated Edwards-Helaire (ankle) off the injured reserve list Monday.
Kansas City placed Mecole Hardman (pelvis) on IR in a corresponding move. Edwards-Helaire last saw game action Week 11, but he's managed to return from his high-ankle sprain with roughly a week left to practice ahead of Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, Feb. 12. Isiah Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon have been impactful as the Chiefs' backfield leaders since Edwards-Helaire's initial injury, so it remains to be seen how touches will be distributed in the big game versus Philadelphia. The extent of Edwards-Helaire's participation in practice could be telling as to his potential workload.
