De'Von Achane RB | MIA
Dolphins' De'Von Achane: Opens week as limited participant
Achane (knee) was a limited practice participant Wednesday.
Achane's inability to take every rep Wednesday doesn't come as a major surprise following a five-week, four-game layoff before he was designated for return from injured reserve, though multiple Dolphins beat reporters said Achane looked good during the open portion of the session and wasn't using any kind of brace or sleeve over his injured knee. Veteran back Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) was also a limited participant Wednesday, but the Dolphins have provided no indication that either of his injuries is serious as Miami comes out of its bye week. Miami looks as though it may have Mostert and Achane available for a home game against the Raiders this Sunday, though even if Achane is cleared to suit up Week 11, he may not be officially activated from IR until Saturday.

Raheem Mostert RB | LV
Dolphins' Raheem Mostert: Limited in practice
Mostert was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to ankle and knee injuries.
Fellow running back De'Von Achane was also limited Wednesday in his first official practice since being designated for return from injured reserve after missing the Dolphins' prior four games with a knee injury. The Dolphins should have a good chance at having both Achane and Mostert available after a Week 10 bye, in which case the two running backs would likely split work Sunday against the Raiders. The duo made the timeshare arrangement work for fantasy managers earlier this season, but Mostert's production slipped the past month even with Achane out of the lineup, in part because Miami's offense slowed down overall. A home matchup with Las Vegas certainly offers a nice opportunity for Tua Tagovailoa and company to get back on track.

Michael Carter RB | TEN
Cardinals' Michael Carter: Gets picked up by Arizona
The Cardinals claimed Carter off waivers Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Despite having James Conner (knee) back in the fold as of this past Sunday against the Falcons, the Cardinals are exploring all options to round out their backfield depth. Carter didn't get much work in nine appearances for the Jets this season, but he averaged 4.8 yards on his eight carries and also reeled in 15 of his 20 targets. Behind Conner, Carter will join Emari Demercado (toe) and Keaontay Ingram as reserve backs on Arizona's active roster.

Alexander Mattison RB | MIA
Vikings' Alexander Mattison: No practice Wednesday
Mattison (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate.
Mattison departed this past Sunday's win against the Saints with a head injury and eventually was confirmed to be in the concussion protocol Monday. With no on-field work to speak of to begin Week 11 prep, he doesn't appear to be in a great spot ahead of Sunday's game at Denver. If Mattison is unable to gain clearance from an independent neurologist by Saturday, the Vikings may be forced to use the combination of Ty Chandler, Kene Nwangwu and recent practice-squad signee Myles Gaskin out of their backfield this weekend.

Antonio Gibson RB | NE
Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Tending to toe issue
Gibson didn't practice Wednesday due to a toe injury.
Through 10 games this season, Gibson has reached double-digit touches just one time, but he's averaging a solid 4.6 yards per carry on his 30 rushes and has also hauled in 30 of 36 passes for 269 yards and his only two touchdowns to date. He's now dealing with a health concern, so his status will be one to monitor as the week continues to get a sense of his odds to suit up Sunday against the Giants.

Khari Blasingame FB | PHI
Bears' Khari Blasingame: Practices in full Wednesday
Blasingame (concussion) was a full participant at practice Wednesday.
It's a positive sign for his potential availability for Week 11. With that being said, there could still be additional steps he'll need to take to fully clear league concussion protocol. Thursday's and Friday's injury reports will provide more information.

Saquon Barkley RB | PHI
Giants' Saquon Barkley: Limited again by ankle injury
Barkley (ankle) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
According to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News, Barkley tweaked his right ankle near the end of this past Sunday's loss at Dallas. Barkley sat out Weeks 3 through 5 after he initially sustained a high-ankle sprain, and the issue has limited his practice reps at times since then. With the injury again inhibiting his on-field work, his status will be one to monitor as the week goes on to see if he may be affected by it Sunday at Washington.

D'Onta Foreman RB | CLE
Bears' D'Onta Foreman: Managing ankle injury this week
Foreman was listed as a limited participant for Wednesday's practice due to an ankle injury.
Despite having a longer turnaround for this Sunday's game in Detroit after the Bears played the Panthers on Thursday night a week ago, Foreman apparently isn't fully healthy as Chicago begins Week 11 prep. According to Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com, head coach Matt Eberflus said Foreman is progressing well after he was noticeably limping around in the locker room following the Week 10 contest, and the Bears have confidence the running back will be ready to go by the time Sunday arrives. Foreman will have two more chances to upgrade to full activity in practice to remove any lingering concern about his status for Sunday, but even if cleared to play, the 27-year-old could face more competition for the lead role out of the backfield. Khalil Herbert (ankle/shin) is heading into his second week of practices since being designated for return from injured reserve, and if activated ahead of Sunday's contest, he could poach some of the early down touches from Foreman. For his part, Foreman has done well to ensure he retains a sizable role moving forward; while Herbert has missed the Bears' last five games, Foreman has averaged 4.3 yards per carry over 81 totes while accounting for four touchdowns (three rushing, one receiving).

Khalil Herbert RB | NYJ
Bears' Khalil Herbert: Tending to shin injury in Week 11
Herbert, who remains on injured reserve, was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to ankle and shin injuries.
Herbert has missed the Bears' last five games while recovering from a right high-ankle sprain, but he was listed as a full participant on all three of the Bears' practice reports last week upon being designated for return from IR. Since the Bears played on Thursday night in last week's win over Carolina, Herbert was expected to be ready to play this Sunday in Detroit with a more typical week of prep time, but the fact that he's now dealing with a shin injury may affect those plans. The Bears haven't revealed whether the shin issue was something he sustained during Wednesday's practice, or if he emerged with the injury following Week 10 prep. Either way, Herbert may need to resume practicing in full capacity by Friday in order for the Bears to feel confident about adding him back to the 53-man roster this week.

Dameon Pierce RB | PHI
Texans' Dameon Pierce: Not at practice
Pierce (ankle) isn't practicing Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Another absence from practice suggests Pierce is in danger of missing a third straight game when the Texans face the Cardinals this Sunday. Even if Pierce demonstrates enough progress as the week goes along to play against Arizona, he may be returning to a smaller role than what he enjoyed previously. Devin Singletary erupted for 150 rushing yards in a 30-27 win over the Bengals this past Sunday, while Pierce has failed to exceed 81 rushing yards in any of his seven appearances this season and is averaging just 3.0 yards per carry.
