  • Jonathan Ward: Back with Tennessee

Ward was signed to the Titans' practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.

Ward was waived by the team Saturday, but he's back just a few days later. The running back was with the active roster in Week 10, playing 15 special-teams snaps in the team's loss to the Buccaneers. He'll now wait for his next chance to join the Titans on gameday.

  • Darrynton Evans: Signs with Miami

Evans signed to the Dolphins' practice squad Tuesday.

Evans was waived by the Bears on Thursday, but he's now found a new home just a handful of days later. With Salvon Ahmed (foot) done for the season, Evans will provide Miami with an additional option at running back.

  • Jakob Johnson RB | HOU

Jakob Johnson: Returns to Las Vegas

Johnson was signed to the Raiders' practice squad Tuesday.

Johnson is back with the Raiders after being waived by the team Friday. The fullback doesn't have a clear path to playing time, but he appears to be sticking around Las Vegas for the time being.

  • Seahawks' Kenneth Walker: Another DNP on Tuesday

Walker (oblique) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's injury report, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports.

The Seahawks did get in some on-field work Tuesday, but Walker wasn't one of those who took part as he tends to a strained oblique that he suffered Sunday against the Rams. Another absence Wednesday may spur Seattle to rule out the running back ahead of Thursday's game versus the 49ers. Assuming Walker is inactive for Week 12, Zach Charbonnet would be the team's top running back, with potentially all of DeeJay Dallas (shoulder), Kenny McIntosh and practice-squad member Bryant Koback available behind him.

  • Salvon Ahmed RB | CHI

Dolphins' Salvon Ahmed: Done for season

Ahmed (foot) is expected to miss the remainder of the 2023 season, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports.

Ahmed suffered a foot injury this past week and was placed on injured reserve Tuesday, but it now appears the injury is a season-ending one. With De'Von Achane (knee) banged up, Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson could operate as the team's primary options in the backfield Friday versus the Jets.

  • Emanuel Wilson RB | SEA

Packers' Emanuel Wilson: Listed as DNP again

Wilson (shoulder) was a non-participant on Tuesday's practice estimate.

Wilson's absence marked his second straight day being listed as sidelined while nursing a shoulder issue. With Aaron Jones (knee) doubtful and AJ Dillon (groin) limited, Wilson could be in line for an extended role in the backfield should he be healthy enough to suit up Thursday.

  • Rico Dowdle RB | PIT

Cowboys' Rico Dowdle: DNP again Tuesday

Dowdle (ankle) was listed as a non-participant on Tuesday's injury report, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.

After not holding practice Monday, the Cowboys got back on the field Tuesday, but Dowdle remained absent from drills. He will have just one more chance to get in practice reps before Thursday's game against the Commanders. If Dowdle is limited or out Week 12, rookie Deuce Vaughn would be the likeliest candidate for increased touches behind starter Tony Pollard.

  • Commanders' Antonio Gibson: Stays limited Tuesday

Gibson (toe) was listed as limited on Tuesday's injury report.

Gibson didn't practice at all last week before being inactive for this past Sunday's game against the Giants. Considering he was upgraded to limited at Tuesday's session, he may have a chance to return from his one-game absence Thursday at Dallas and rejoin Brian Robinson in the Washington backfield. If Gibson remains out, rookie Chris Rodriguez could see an increased workload again.

  • AJ Dillon RB | CAR

Packers' AJ Dillon: Remains listed as limited

Dillon (groin) is listed as limited on Tuesday's practice estimate.

While Dillon continues to have a cap on his listed reps due to a groin injury, fellow running backs Aaron Jones (knee) and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) wouldn't have taken part at all Monday or Tuesday if the Packers had held an actual practice. Coach Matt LaFleur told Ryan Wood of USA Today on Tuesday that it's "highly unlikely" that Jones will be available Thursday in Detroit, so Dillon appears set for an increased workload, assuming he's healthy enough to play.

  • Aaron Jones RB | MIN

Packers' Aaron Jones: Unlikely to play Thursday

Coach Matt LaFleur said Tuesday that Jones (knee) is "highly unlikely" to play Thursday at Detroit, but he doesn't believe the running back will be placed on injured reserve, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.

LaFleur's comment backs up a report from Adam Schefter of ESPN earlier Tuesday that Jones has an MCL sprain and is deemed week-to-week after getting injured this past Sunday against the Chargers. Jones has been listed as a non-participant on both of the Packers' Week 12 practice reports so far, while AJ Dillon (groin) has been listed as limited and Emanuel Wilson (shoulder) has been a DNP on both occasions. Assuming Jones sits out Thursday, Dillon would be in line for the top gig out of Green Bay's backfield, assuming he's healthy enough to play himself. Patrick Taylor is currently the only running back on the team's depth chart without an injury designation.
