  • 49ers' Jimmy Garoppolo: Still undergoing tests on foot

Coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Garoppolo continues to undergo testing on his broken left foot, but there's a growing belief that the quarterback avoided a Lisfranc injury, David Lombardi of The Athletic reports.

Garoppolo made an early departure from Sunday's game against the Dolphins and needed a cart to get to the locker room. Afterward, he was diagnosed with a fractured foot that's expected to require season-ending surgery, per Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com. Having said that, until the extent of the injury is known, Garoppolo's status is in some limbo. In the meantime, the 49ers will entrust the offense to rookie seventh-round pick Brock Purdy, who complete 25 of 37 passes for 210 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 33-17 win. As for the rest of the signal-callers on San Francisco's roster, Trey Lance (ankle) remains on injured reserve, while Jacob Eason is on the practice squad, so moves likely will be made in the coming days to bolster the position.

  • John Wolford QB | MIN

Rams' John Wolford: Listed as DNP

Wolford (neck) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's injury report, Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

The Rams didn't practice, so Monday's report was simply an estimate. Wolford drew the start Week 13 with Matthew Stafford (neck) on IR and played all but one offensive snap. The severity of the issue remains unclear, but Wolford will have two more chances to practice this week before the team needs to make a decision on his status for Thursday's matchup against the Raiders. If Wolford is sidelined, Bryce Perkins would be the next man up under center.

  • Joshua Dobbs QB | NE

Joshua Dobbs: Officially on Lions' practice squad

Detroit signed Dobbs to its practice squad Monday.

Just a week after being waived by Cleveland, Dobbs has found another opportunity to make an impression with the Lions. Barring multiple injuries, it's unlikely he's elevated from the practice squad any time soon.

  • Zach Wilson QB | NO

Jets' Zach Wilson: Will be inactive Week 14

Head coach Robert Saleh said Wilson will be a healthy inactive for Sunday's matchup against the Bills, Ethan B. Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.

Mike White will draw a third straight start, and Joe Flacco will operate as the backup, leaving Wilson out of the mix again. Saleh added that the plan is for Wilson to get back on the field at some point this season, but the Jets don't appear to be in a hurry to make that move, especially if White continues to play at a high level.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Week-to-week, per coach

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said Monday that Jackson (knee) is "week-to-week," and added that the quarterback is less likely to play Sunday against the Steelers, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Sun reports.

Jackson was knocked out of this past Sunday's 10-9 win over the Broncos due to a knee injury, and while his initial test results appear to be encouraging, the star quarterback may be trending more towards doubtful than questionable at this point. He's believed to be dealing with a mild left knee sprain, but there hasn't been official confirmation on a diagnosis. Tyler Huntley, who led a game-winning touchdown drive against Denver, would likely operate as the Ravens' primary signal-caller if Jackson is forced to miss any more game action.

  • Rams' Matthew Stafford: Expected to have healthy offseason

Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Stafford's neck injury isn't a long-term issue, and the quarterback is expected to have a "healthy offseason," Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

This essentially confirms Stafford is done for the year, which was expected after he was placed on IR ahead of Sunday's loss to Seattle due to a spinal cord contusion. However, this appears to be a promising update for the future, as a healthy offseason should allow Stafford to work out some of the kinks that led to a disappointing 2022 campaign.

  • Lamar Jackson QB | BAL

Ravens' Lamar Jackson: May have mild knee sprain

Jackson is believed to have suffered a mild left knee sprain in Sunday's 10-9 win over the Broncos, but a firm diagnosis for his injury won't arrive until the results of his MRI on Monday are made available, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Jackson suffered the injury on the final play of the first quarter of Sunday's game, when Broncos defender Jonathan Cooper landed on top of him on a sack. The signal-caller was evaluated in a medical tent on the sideline before heading to the locker room, with the Ravens then ruling him out for the day coming out of halftime. Backup Tyler Huntley stepped in and guided the Ravens to a go-ahead touchdown drive in the final minute, and he would be in line to start the team's Week 14 game in Pittsburgh next weekend if Jackson is unable to play. For now, the Ravens seem hopeful that Jackson avoided a major injury, even though head coach John Harbaugh suggested after Sunday's game that the star quarterback was somewhere between day-to-day and week-to-week, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com. Unless the MRI reveals more serious damage to Jackson's knee than anticipated, Rapoport relays that the Ravens are optimistic the 25-year-old will need to miss just one game at the most.

  • Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: Will undergo MRI on Monday

Coach Doug Pederson said Lawrence will undergo an MRI on his left foot Monday, but the quarterback is trending in the right direction, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.

Lawrence took a hard hit on the final play of the first half and bent his left leg awkwardly, but he was able to get to the locker room under his own power and was back on the field to start the second half. It appears the MRI is merely precautionary, but the results should provide further clarity on Lawrence's availability for practice this week.

  • John Wolford QB | MIN

    Rams' John Wolford: Considered day-to-day

Coach Sean McVay said Monday that Wolford suffered a neck injury during Sunday's loss to the Seahawks and is considered day-to-day, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports.

With Matthew Stafford (neck) on IR, Wolford drew his second start of the season Week 13 and completed 14 of 26 passes for 178 yards and two interceptions. Wolford played all but one offensive snap but appears to have picked up a neck injury of his own. With the Rams on a short week, it's very possible Bryce Perkins could be in line to start Thursday's matchup against Las Vegas. However, Wolford's participation at practice this week likely will provide further clarity on the team's quarterback situation.

  • P.J. Walker QB | SEA

Panthers' PJ Walker: Ready for Week 14

Walker (ankle) is expected to suit up in Week 14 versus the Seahawks, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official website reports.

Walker will be ready to go for the Panthers' first game following their bye week after missing the last two contests with an ankle sprain. With Baker Mayfield being let go Monday, Walker will likely operate as the top backup quarterback option behind Sam Darnold for the stretch run. Walker has produced 731 passing yards with three touchdowns and three interceptions while also rushing for 39 yards over six games this year.
