Justin Fields QB | KC
Steelers' Justin Fields: Headed for another start
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said Fields is on track to make another start Sunday at Indianapolis, Albert Breer of SI.com reports. "As we walk into the building [Wednesday], I want Justin singularly focused on starting for us."
Tomlin reiterated that a decision on a permanent starting quarterback won't be made until Russell Wilson (calf) is fully healthy, but Fields has made a strong case to hold on to the job with his play through the first three weeks of the season. He's helped lead Pittsburgh to a 3-0 start while completing 55 of 75 pass attempts (73.3 percent) for 518 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, to go with 28 carries for 90 yards and another score. According to Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com, Tomlin said that he would revisit the Steelers' quarterback situation if Wilson upgrades to full participation in practice by the end of the week, but with the former Seahawk and Bronco set for a limited practice Wednesday, Fields should handle nearly all of the first-team reps to begin Week 4 prep.

Jason Bean QB | IND
Jason Bean: Placed on injured list
The Colts placed Bean (foot) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday.
Bean was spotted wearing a boot on his left foot/ankle at practice Tuesday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. The severity of the undrafted rookie quarterback's injury remains unclear, but he'll need to miss at least the next four games before being eligible to come off the practice squad/injured list.

Jayden Daniels QB | WAS
Commanders' Jayden Daniels: Spearheads big road victory
Daniels completed 21 of 23 passes for 254 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions while adding 12 rushes for 39 yards and another score in the Commanders' 38-33 win over the Bengals on Monday.
Eight days after securing his first NFL win in the form of a 21-18 victory over the Giants, Daniels faced and passed a much tougher test in a road primetime clash against a fully healthy Bengals offense. Facing off with fellow LSU alum Joe Burrow, Daniels went toe to toe with the 2020 first overall pick and emerged the victor courtesy of his four-yard scoring run and one and 27-yard touchdown tosses to Trent Scott and Terry McLaurin, respectively -- the first two touchdown passes of his career. Daniels impressively helped keep the heat on the desperate Bengals in the second half after Washington had established a surprising 21-13 halftime lead, and he helmed a critical 12-play, 70-yard drive in the fourth quarter in which he completed seven passes, including the 27-yard scoring strike to McLaurin. Three games into his pro career, Daniels already looks like he has a firm command of coordinator Kliff Kingsbury's quarterback-friendly offense, and he'll head into a Week 4 road showdown with Kyler Murray and the Cardinals having upped his passing yardage in every game thus far.

Joe Burrow QB | CIN
Bengals' Joe Burrow: Throws for three TDs on MNF
Burrow completed 29 of 38 pass attempts for 324 yards and three touchdowns (no turnovers) in Monday's 38-33 loss to the Commanders. He also added four rushing yards on one attempt.
Burrow put together his best fantasy performance through three weeks, missing just nine passes in a high-scoring affair. Despite taking his third loss of the season, the Bengals' signal-caller likely earned some late-matchup victories for fantasy managers following Monday's gaudy stat line. Burrow is not far removed from back-to-back seasons with 4,475-plus passing yards and 34-plus touchdowns in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Perhaps this is the game that spurs an underperforming Cincinnati offense heading into a road tilt against the Panthers on Sunday.

Trevor Lawrence QB | JAC
Jaguars' Trevor Lawrence: More lackluster numbers in loss
Lawrence completed 21 of 38 passes for 178 yards with one touchdown and one interception in the Jaguars' 47-10 loss to the Bills on Monday night. He also rushed twice for three yards.
Lawrence and the Jaguars offense as a whole was under duress early, as the Bills already had a 13-0 lead by the end of one that had expanded to a 34-3 advantage by halftime. The 2021 first overall pick could only lead Jacksonville to that one field goal on five first-half possessions, one of which he short-circuited with an interception. Lawrence's best stretch of play came on the opening possession of the second half, when he helmed an eight-play, 70-yard march that he capped with a six-yard touchdown toss to Brenton Strange. The fourth-year signal-caller eventually gave way to Mac Jones midway through the fourth quarter with the game long out of reach, and Lawrence will head into a Week 4 road divisional showdown against the Texans on Sunday having thrown for no more than 220 yards in any of his first three games.
-
Josh Allen QB | BUF
Bills' Josh Allen: Throws four first-half TDs on MNF
Allen completed 23 of 30 passes for 263 yards and four touchdowns in Monday's 47-10 win over the Jaguars. He added six rushing attempts for 44 yards.
Allen tossed a six-yard touchdown pass to tight end Dalton Kincaid in the first quarter before adding three touchdown passes in the second: 24 and 27 yards to wide receivers Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir, respectively, then 16 yards to running back Ty Johnson. Buffalo didn't need to lean much on Allen's arm in the second half after taking a 34-3 lead into the locker room, and backup Mitchell Trubisky got in for some mop-up duty in the fourth quarter. Allen also led the team in rushing yards for good measure. The star quarterback has had no trouble adjusting to the offseason trade of No. 1 wide receiver Stefon Diggs, as Allen has a 7:0 TD:INT as a passer, plus two rushing touchdowns heading into a marquee Week 4 matchup against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens on Sunday Night Football.

Aidan O'Connell QB | LV
Raiders' Aidan O'Connell: In line to remain No. 2 option
O'Connell is slated to remain the backup option under center for the Raiders for the team's Week 4 matchup with the Browns, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Head coach Antonio Pierce raised some eyebrows Monday when he hinted that a quarterback change could be on the horizon. However, Gardner Minshew is poised to get the nod for another start. Still, it looks like he's on a short leash as of now, meaning O'Connell could get the call at any point should Minshew struggle. The second-year signal-caller looked solid in garbage time Sunday, completing nine of 12 passes for 82 yards and one touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
-
Gardner Minshew QB | ARI
Raiders' Gardner Minshew: In line to remain starter
Minshew is slated to remain the No. 1 option under center heading into the Raiders' Week 4 matchup with Browns, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Head coach Antonio Pierce indicated Monday that he had not ruled out the possibility of benching Minshew in favor of Aidan O'Connell, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. However, it did not take long before the team likely put an end to the quarterback quandary. Minshew completed 18 of 28 passes for 214 yards, one touchdown and one interception in a loss to the Panthers on Sunday. He will look to get back on track Week 4 versus the Browns.

Sean Clifford QB | CIN
Sean Clifford: Reverts to practice squad
Clifford reverted to the Packers' practice squad Monday.
Clifford served as Malik Willis' backup for the second straight game while Jordan Love remained sidelined with a knee injury. If Love is unable to return versus the Vikings next week, Clifford will likely be elevated once again.

Sam Hartman QB | WAS
Commanders' Sam Hartman: Emergency quarterback in Week 3
Hartman will serve as the Commanders' emergency third quarterback in Monday night's matchup against the Bengals.
Hartman will serve as Washington's No. 3 quarterback for the third time in just as many weeks. The Notre Dame product will be allowed to enter Monday night's contest only if both Jayden Daniels and Jeff Driskel becoming unavailable due to ejection or injury.
