Barkley completed 10 of 14 passes for 125 yards and two interceptions while catching a two-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's 38-10 loss to the Vikings. He finished the season with 1,611 yards and eight touchdown passes against 14 interceptions.

Barkley had a pair of strong fantasy performances when the Bears fell behind opponents in two of his first four starts, but after throwing 10 interceptions in the last three games of the season, he seems to have cemented his status as an NFL backup. He'll be a free agent this offseason, and he'll likely end up with a team that will give him a chance to compete for a roster spot.

Prescott completed four of eight passes for 37 yards in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Eagles. He also carried one time for nine yards before exiting the game in the first half.

With the top seed in the NFC already in hand, the Cowboys elected to limit several key regulars while holding others out altogether. Prescott moved the offense adequately during his time, but an extended look for Mark Sanchez and a successful brief cameo from Tony Romo comprised most of the snaps under center. After an excellent regular season, Prescott will now turn his attention to his first career postseason game, which will come during the divisional round.

Savage completed five of eight passes for 25 yards in Sunday's loss to the Titans, with his day cut short by a concussion.

Savage, who was initially hurt on the first play of the second quarter of the game, was able to return for the final play of the first half. He was subsequently ruled out for the rest of the day, however, and replaced by Brock Osweiler. Looking ahead, Savage will have some hurdles to clear in the NFL's concussion protocol in order to be a starting option next weekend when the Texans embark on their playoff run.

Gabbert (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 17 tilt versus the Seahawks, the team's official site reports.

Gabbert will once again take a seat, leaving the quarterbacking duties to Colin Kaepernick and Christian Ponder against Seattle.

Keenum (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 17 tilt versus the Cardinals, Myles A. Simmons of the team's official site reports.

The second-year signal-caller will once again take a seat and leave the quarterbacking duties to Jared Goff and Sean Mannion.

Savage left Sunday's game against the Titans to be evaluated for a concussion.

With Savage forced out of Sunday's contest, Brock Osweiler went in at QB for the Texans in Week 17. Savage was subsequently able to clear the NFL's concussion protocol, however.

Tannehill (knee) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 17 tilt versus the Patriots, the team's official site reports.

Tannehill's status was fully expected, as Matt Moore will once again helm the Dolphins' offense in the season finale. Tannehill's potential availability for a postseason game next weekend remains firmly up in the air at this point.

Taylor (groin, team decision) is inactive for Sunday's game at the Jets.

This was expected heading into the weekend, and it leaves Taylor's future with the team and its next coaching regime in doubt. The Bills have a major salary decision to make on Taylor this offseason, and couldn't afford to make that process even worse by risking him sustaining a major injury in a meaningless game.

McGloin will start at quarterback Sunday against the Broncos as the Raiders look to clinch home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, Eddie Paskal of the team's official site reports.

With usual starting quarterback Derek Carr sidelined for the next six-to-eight weeks as he recovers from a broken leg, McGloin will be in charge of leading Oakland in their quest for an AFC West title in Week 17 with a win over the Broncos. If the Raiders come away with a victory and New England loses, Oakland will also secure home-field advantage until the Super Bowl if they're able to survive and advance. Connor Cook will serve as McGloin's backup, while Amari Cooper (shoulder) and Michael Crabtree (ankle) are a bit banged up, but expected to play.

Interim coach Anthony Lynn says Taylor (groin, team decision) is expected to be inactive Sunday for the finale at the Jets, Joe Buscaglia of WKBW reports.

The Bills would face some major salary issues if Taylor played and suffered a serious injury in Sunday's meaningless game, so the prudent move is to sit him out and make a further evaluation of EJ Manuel. Consider this your last reminder to sit Taylor if his big Week 16 game -- 329 passing yards and three TD passes, plus 60 yards on the ground -- put you in a Week 17 fantasy championship game.
