Jacoby Brissett QB | ARI
Colts' Jacoby Brissett: Throws three touchdowns
Brissett completed 24 of 46 passes for 265 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception during Sunday's 31-24 loss to Oakland. He added 19 yards on five carries.
With his team down 14-0 early, Brissett faked out the Raiders defense and the cameramen on a read option near the goal line and dropped it off to Jack Doyle for the first of three touchdowns on the day. Brissett started the season with back-to-back games with under 200 yards passing, but those totals have been picking up in recent weeks and he has an attractive 10-2 touchdown-interception ratio. He'll have a showdown in Week 5 against a Chiefs team that has won a lot of shoot-outs this season.

Derek Carr QB | NO
Raiders' Derek Carr: Appears not to have serious injury
The results of Carr's (lower leg) X-rays "were good," Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports.
Tafur acknowledged that there's been "nothing official from team" on the topic, but at first glance, Carr's X-rays appeared precautionary, and his status for Week 5's game against the Bears likely isn't in peril.

Matthew Stafford QB | LAR
Lions' Matthew Stafford: Almost leads upset effort
Stafford completed 21 of 34 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's 34-30 loss to Kansas City. He added 18 yards on two attempts.
Stafford came devastatingly close to pulling off the upset Sunday, delivering a 34-yard back-shoulder pass to Marvin Hall in the closing minutes of the game to set up a six-yard touchdown to Kenny Golladay. Stafford has, strangely, dominated in Detroit's loss and tie while putting up so-so numbers in the two wins. One thing to track heading into Week 6 against the Packers is the play of Kerryon Johnson, who finally seemed to find his footing against the Chiefs. If Johnson is able to keep it going, pressure to carry the offense will be lifted off of Stafford's shoulders.
-
Daniel Jones QB | IND
Giants' Daniel Jones: Throws two interceptions
Jones completed 23 of 31 pass attempts for 225 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions during Sunday's 24-3 win over the Redskins. He also carried five times for an additional 33 yards.
Jones led his team to touchdowns on its first two drives of the game, only to follow up with interceptions on his next two possessions. Luckily, the Washington offense could do little with Dwayne Haskins at the helm, allowing Jones and the rushing attack to salt away the victory. The rookie has managed 561 passing yards, 61 rushing yards, and six total touchdowns over his first two starts, but he'll face his toughest test yet next Sunday at home against the Vikings.

Derek Carr QB | NO
Raiders' Derek Carr: Has X-rays
Carr (lower leg) underwent X-rays following Sunday's 31-24 win over the Colts, Scott Bair of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Per the report, Carr got "banged up early-ish in the game and grabbed his lower leg." That said, the QB didn't miss any snaps and wound up completing 21 of 31 passes for 189 yards and two TDs. Given that, hopefully the X-rays were simply a precaution, but until that's clarified either way, Carr's Week 5 status will be worth monitoring.

Matt Barkley QB | JAC
Bills' Matt Barkley: Takes over for concussed Allen
Barkley came in for the injured Josh Allen (concussion) and completed nine of 16 passes for 127 yards and an interception in Sunday's 16-10 loss to the Patriots.
Barkley was called into action after Josh Allen took a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit early in the fourth quarter. He immediately led the team down to the 2-yard line before turning it over on downs. That's as close as the Bills would come to erasing a six-point deficit, as a Barkley interception in New England territory with 1:27 to play sealed their fate. Allen went to the locker room under his own power but couldn't clear the concussion protocol. Barkley would start in Week 5 against the Titans if Allen is unable to clear the protocol by then.

Mitch Trubisky QB | TEN
Bears' Mitchell Trubisky: Has shoulder injury, ruled out
Trubisky suffered a left shoulder injury during Sunday's game against the Vikings and won't return.
Trubisky got injured on a play that ultimately didn't count, as it was nullified by a defensive penalty on the Vikings. The Bears have yet to release the precise injury, but Trubisky will yield QB duties to backup Chase Daniel for the rest of the afternoon.
-
Deshaun Watson QB | CLE
Texans' Deshaun Watson: Scores rushing touchdown
Watson completed 21 of 33 pass attempts for 160 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions Sunday against the Panthers. He also carried three times for 12 yards and a touchdown in the 16-10 loss.
Watson generated little in the way of big plays, finishing with an average of 4.8 yards per attempt while failing to exceed 160 passing yards for the second time this season. He did get into the end zone on a one-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, giving him three rushing scores in four games, but it was still a disappointing performance overall. Although Watson has been quite inconsistent this season, next Sunday's home matchup against the Falcons should present him with a bounce-back opportunity.
-
Patrick Mahomes QB | KC
Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes: Breaks Detroit's heart
Mahomes completed 24 of 42 passes for 315 yards and added 54 yards on six rushes during Sunday's 34-30 win over the Lions.
The Lions were a play away from capping off the upset in the final moments of Sunday's game when, facing 4th-and-8, Mahomes drifted back, found a lane, and scooted upfield for a gain of 15, setting up the game-winning touchdown. Playing a Detroit defense that has frustrated a Pro Bowl's worth of quarterbacks already this season, Mahomes wasn't playing pitch and catch as he typically does and was held without a touchdown for the first time since Week 5 of last season. Sunday showed that Mahomes is mortal; it just so happens that mortal -- for him -- still includes 369 total yards.
-
Lamar Jackson QB | BAL
Ravens' Lamar Jackson: Ugly but effective in loss
Jackson completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in Sunday's 40-25 loss to Cleveland. He added 66 yards on nine carries.
Jackson threw for only 34 yards in the first half, but that total included a nine-yard touchdown pass to Miles Boykin just after the two-minute warning. He added an eight-yard touchdown to Mark Andrews in the fourth quarter but got picked off twice after that to dim Baltimore's comeback hopes before connecting for a 50-yard score with Willie Snead in garbage time. While Jackson has made strides as a passer, he's still much more comfortable operating with a run-pass balance, though big deficits open up the possibility of fantasy-friendly garbage-time production. Jackson remains a high-tier fantasy quarterback ahead of a Week 5 trip to Pittsburgh.
