Prescott (shoulder) was a limited participant in Friday's practice, but he won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Redskins, David Helman of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Per Todd Archer of ESPN.com, Prescott didn't throw Friday, but he apparently fit in enough work to upgrade to limited participation after going down as a "DNP" on the Cowboys' first two practice reports of Week 17. Based on the fact that Prescott isn't even listed as questionable for the team's regular-season finale, the Cowboys are apparently content to let the quarterback play through the sprained AC joint in his throwing shoulder with a potential playoff berth on the line. The Cowboys need a win and an Eagles loss to the Giants to take home the NFC title, so expect Prescott to remain on the field Sunday until the outcome of either game is decided. In addition to being impacted by the shoulder injury, Prescott could have to make do without star left tackle Tyron Smith (back), who is questionable after failing to practice Wednesday through Friday.

Watson (back) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Titans after practicing in a limited fashion this week, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.

If Sunday's contest carried major playoff implications, there wouldn't be much doubt about Watson suiting up this weekend. However, Watson's status for Week 17 is muddled with more uncertainty due to the fact that the Texans would be unable to change their playoff seeding in the event the Chiefs defeat the Chargers on Sunday. Since the Chiefs kick off at 1 p.m. ET and the Texans don't play until 4:25 p.m., Houston's seeding may already be decided before it kicks off, which could prompt coach Bill O'Brien to hold out Watson or limit the quarterback's snaps versus Tennessee, even if he's not inactive.

Stafford (back/hip) agreed to convert a $6 million roster bonus into a signing bonus, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

The agreement clears up $4.8 million in 2020 cap space for the Lions, allowing for a bit more room to maneuver. Stafford is closing out the year on injured reserve but should be healthy long before training camp. Most of Detroit's key contributors on offense are under contract for at least one more year, with slot receiver Danny Amendola and starting right guard Graham Glasgow the notable exceptions.

Murray (hamstring) is expected to be a game-day decision for Sunday's contest against the Rams, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com reports.

Coach Kliff Kingsbury said he isn't sure if Murray will be ready to play and also mentioned that Brett Hundley has taken most of the practice reps this week, while quarterback Drew Anderson has been promoted from the practice squad. While none of that sounds promising, Kyle Odegard of the Cardinals' official site thought Murray was moving around without much trouble during Friday's practice. Ultimately, the Cardinals aren't in the mix for a playoff spot, so it wouldn't make sense to play Murray unless the medical staff believes his hamstring is truly healed. A 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff complicates matters for fantasy mangers, but reports about Murray's status should come before the first wave of games begin Sunday.

The Jaguars list Minshew (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Minshew's right shoulder bothered him heading into last weekend's loss to the Falcons, but he entered the contest without an injury designation. The Jaguars' decision to list him as questionable ahead of the season finale suggests his shoulder is at least a little more of a concern this week, but no reports have surfaced at this point suggesting that Minshew is truly in jeopardy of sitting out. The rookie has at least been able to get on the practice field in some fashion throughout the week, logging limited workouts Wednesday through Friday.

Prescott (shoulder) didn't throw any passes during the media-access portion of Friday's practice, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.

Prescott was able to complete some individual drills, so he'll presumably be listed as a limited participant. It's similar to the plan he followed last week prior to suiting up in a 17-9 loss to the Eagles. Prescott presumably intends to play through his AC joint sprain for another week, as the Cowboys can still reach the playoffs if they beat Washington and the Eagles lose to the Giants.

Cousins and other Vikings starters are expected to be held out of Sunday's game against the Bears, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.

The Vikings haven't finalized their plans but are reportedly leaning in this direction. Other candidates for rest and/or limited snaps include Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen and Kyle Rudolph, along with banged-up running backs Dalvin Cook (shoulder) and Alexander Mattison (ankle). Sean Mannion is next up at quarterback, while Mike Boone, Ameer Abdullah, Bisi Johnson and Laquon Treadwell are the best bets to take on the vacated carries and targets.

Coach Jason Garrett said Prescott (shoulder) "won't practice much if he practices at all" Friday, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Garrett said the same thing Thursday and Prescott was ultimately held out of practice, so it remains to be seen exactly how much he will do at the Cowboys' final session of the week. Even if Prescott misses Friday's practice entirely, he should still have a chance to play in Sunday's must-win matchup with Washington.

Cousins doesn't know how much he'll play this week against the Bears or whether he'll play at all, the team's official web site reports. "Certainly would love to be able to play well and get a bad taste out of your mouth, and we'll see what ends up being the right call," he said.

With the Vikings locked into the No. 6 playoff seed, there's nothing to play for this week against Chicago. Head coach Mike Zimmer hasn't said whether he'll rest his starters and may not announce a decision until kickoff. Cousins is a risky fantasy option as a result. However, the Vikings may play their starters for a quarter or two after a poor offensive performance in last week's loss to Green Bay.

Murray (hamstring) was limited in practice Thursday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Murray has yet to progress to a 'full' showing in practice this week, the result of a hamstring injury. In particular, he was seen throwing on the side Tuesday before fitting in some individual drills Thursday, according to Scott Bordow of The Athletic. Ultimately, Murray's activity level Friday will go a long way in coach Kliff Kingsbury's decision-making process for Sunday's season finale against the Rams in L.A.
