  • Tyler Bass K | BUF

Bills' Tyler Bass: Doesn't practice Tuesday

Bass (pelvis) did not participate in Tuesday's practice session, Maddy Glab and Kay Racine of the Bills' official site report.

Bass missed the Bills' first two practices of the week while working through a pelvic injury. Head coach Sean McDermott relayed Monday that the injury isn't serious, but the Bills may have to sign a kicker to the roster if Bass is unable to play in the team's preseason opener against the Giants on Aug. 9.

  • Caden Davis K | BUF

    Caden Davis: Waived by Jets

The Jets waived Davis on Tuesday, Susanna Weir of the team's official site reports.

Davis inked a deal with the Jets as an undrafted free agent in May and outlasted both Anders Carlson and Greg Zuerlein (knee) in the team's kicker competition, but it appears his performance hasn't matched expectations to begin training camp. Following Davis' exit, Harrison Mevis is the lone remaining kicker on New York's roster.

Bills' Tyler Bass: Working through pelvic injury

Bass did not practice Monday due to a pelvic injury, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.

Head coach Sean McDermott relayed Monday that Bass's injury doesn't appear to be serious, but it could cause the veteran kicker to miss Tuesday's practice. Bass is looking to improve on his 2024 season, when he connected on 24 of 29 field-goal attempts (including 4-for-4 on tries from 50-plus yards).

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: Favored to keep kicker gig

Gano remains a favorite for the kicking job in New York, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.

The only other kicker on the camp roster is Jude McAtamney, who played for Rutgers in 2022 and joined the Giants in 2024 through the International Player Pathway Program. McAtamney played one game for the Giants last season and made both of his kicks, while Gano went 9-for-11 on field-goal attempts and 15-for-15 on PATs across 10 games. Gano was one of the most accurate kickers in the league from 2017 to 2022, but he's now 38 years old, with 16 missed games over the past two seasons.

  • Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Participating in practice

Aubrey (shoulder) kicked field goals during Thursday's practice, Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Aubrey underwent surgery on his shoulder during the offseason, but the third-year kicker has recovered from the procedure and will be a full participant in training camp. Aubrey is coming off a 2024 campaign in which he went 40-for-47 on field-goal attempts (including 14-for-17 from 50-plus yards) and made all 30 of his extra-point tries across 17 regular-season games.

  • Tyler Loop K | BAL

Ravens' Tyler Loop: Accurate at training camp

Loop made all six of his field-goal attempts during Baltimore's training camp session Wednesday, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports.

Loop has gotten off to a hot start since the Ravens selected him in the sixth-round of this this year's draft, as he was impressive during the rookie minicamp as well. He is competing for the team's starting kicker spot with rookie undrafted free-agent John Hoyland, who made four of his five field-goal attempts during Wednesday's practice.

  • Jake Moody K | WAS

49ers' Jake Moody: Facing competition for job

Moody is competing with Greg Joseph for San Francisco's placekicker job, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.

The 49ers drafted Moody at No. 99 overall in 2023, making him the second kicker in 15 years to go within the top 100 picks. He mostly performed well as a rookie, but he then missed three kicks during the playoffs and made only 70.6 percent of his field-goal attempts in 2024. Moody now faces competition from Joseph, who was Minnesota's kicker from 2021 to 2023 before playing for three different teams last season. The winner of their summer battle could have volume-based fantasy value, as the 49ers have star power on offense and a seemingly favorable schedule.

  • Alex Hale K | GB

Alex Hale: Let go by Packers

Hale (eye) was waived with a non-football injury designation by the Packers on Monday.

Hale spent the 2024 season on Green Bay's practice squad after joining the team as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program. The kicker had been on the active/non-football injury list prior to being let go after he injured his eye while working out. Hale will be sidelined for several weeks, according to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Packers' Alex Hale: Sidelined to start training camp

Hale (undisclosed) was placed on the active/non-football injury list Friday, Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com reports.

Hale spent the entire 2024 season on the Packers' practice squad and could be headed that direction again in 2025. However, he'll first have to get back on the field after recovering from his undisclosed injury.

  • Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Looking to rebound in 2025

Hopkins is going to get every opportunity to show he's moved on from a frustrating 2024 season, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.

Hopkins was acquired from the Chargers ahead of the 2023 campaign and had a career year that season, drilling 33 of 36 field-goal attempts (91.7 percent) and 24 of 26 extra-point tries. Cleveland inked him to a three-year, $15.3 million extension through 2027, but the veteran kicker then posted the worst season of his career in 2024, making just 18 of 27 field goals (66.7 percent) and 17 of 20 extra points. The Browns have brought in Andre Szmyt to provide competition, but it sounds like Cleveland wants Hopkins to win this job. For fantasy purposes, the Browns don't project to be a high-scoring offense in 2025. That coupled with Hopkins' 2024 struggles don't make him a desirable target.
