Bears' Connor Barth: Replaced by Cairo Santos

Barth is expected to be cut loose by the Bears in the coming days with the team signing fellow kicker Cairo Santos on Monday, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Barth missed a 46-yard field-goal attempt with three seconds remaining in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Lions. He's missed five of his 16 tries this season, after going 18-for-23 for the Bears in 2016.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Won't be replaced by Sturgis

Eagles coach Doug Pederson said Elliott (concussion) will retain the placekicking job if healthy, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports.

Elliott is in the concussion protocol after exiting Sunday's 37-9 win over the Cowboys. His situation serves as a reminder that Caleb Sturgis (quadriceps) is now eligible to return from injured reserve, but the Eagles won't make a move unless Elliott isn't ready for Sunday's game against the Seahawks. The rookie fifth-round pick has missed three extra-point attempts, but he's converted 17 of 21 field-goal tries despite getting just five chances from inside 40 yards. One of his misses came in Sunday's victory and may have been related to the concussion he was diagnosed with shortly thereafter.

  • Wil Lutz K | DEN

Saints' Wil Lutz: Boots game-winner in OT

Lutz made four field goals and two extra points in Sunday's 34-31 comeback win against the Redskins, including converting the game-winning 28-yard field goal in overtime.

Lutz had been scuffling some of late -- missing a kick in three of his last four games -- but he was perfect in a busy Week 11. The big-legged kicker has notched double-digit points in nearly half the games this year and continues to have a stable floor, with the Saints averaging over 30 points per game.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: No misses in Week 11 win

Fairbairn booted a 34-yard field goal and was successful on all four of his extra-point kicks in Sunday's 31-21 win over the Cardinals.

Fairbairn had shanked field-goal attempts in each of the last two games, but he successfully converted all of his kicks in Sunday's win. More importantly for Fairbairn, who had just three points over the previous two games, Houston's offense was the best it's been under Tom Savage. If that keeps up, the second-year placekicker out of UCLA can be a viable kicker.

  • Connor Barth K | CHI

Bears' Connor Barth: Misses game-tying kick in Sunday loss

Barth made one of two field-goal attempts while adding three extra points in Sunday's 27-24 loss to the Lions.

Barth had a chance to tie the game at 27 in the waning moments, but his wide kick never had a chance of finding the uprights. As long as he remains on the Bears' roster, he'll be a low-upside fantasy option, as he's posted six or fewer points in three of his last four contests.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Won't return to game

Elliott (concussion) will not return to Sunday's game in Dallas, Rob Phillips of the Cowboys' official site reports.

Elliott left for the locker room at the end of the first quarter after missing a 34-yard field goal attempt. The Eagles subsequently have scored a pair of two-point conversions while using linebacker Kamu Grugier-Hill for kickoffs. Elliott will have a full week to clear the concussion protocol before the Eagles face the Bears on Sunday in Week 12.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Exits with potential concussion

Elliott left Sunday's game against the Cowboys in the first half to be evaluated for a concussion, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.

Elliott shanked a 34-yard field goal attempt at the end of the first quarter and was taken to the locker room shortly thereafter. He missed three PAT attempts over the previous two games, but he's been excellent on longer field goals, connecting on five of six tries from 50 or more yards and nine of 10 from 40-49. The Eagles may have to use punter Donnie Jones as their placekicker for the rest of the game if Elliott is diagnosed with a concussion.

  • Steelers' Chris Boswell: Huge game in blowout win

Boswell made all four field-goal tries (26, 28, 41, 50) and all four PATs in Thursday's 40-17 win over the Titans.

After what was arguably the worst game of his career in Week 10, Boswell rebounded nicely with a monster performance, rewarding fantasy owners who stuck with him. Pittsburgh hosts a Packers team in Week 12 that's allowing kickers 8.3 points per game.

  • Cairo Santos K | CHI

Cairo Santos: Works out for Chicago

Santos (groin) met with the Bears on Thursday, but it doesn't appear the team will offer him a contract, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Santos served as the Chiefs' kicker the last three seasons and opened the 2017 campaign with Kansas City, converting all three of his field-goal attempts and all 12 of his extra-point tries in three games before he was waived/injured by the team Sept. 30 while he was dealing with an adductor strain of his groin. Though he's now believed to be fully healthy, the Bears likely weren't motivated to make a change at kicker after Connor Barth submitted his best performance of the season in the Week 10 loss to Green Bay, converting field-goal tries from 45, 44 and 49 yards amid soggy conditions. With the injury behind him, Santos could end up latching on elsewhere before long, given that he was one of the league's better kickers in 2016, ranking fifth in the NFL with an 88.6 percent success rate on field goals while garnering touchbacks on 55.8 percent of his kickoffs.

  • Marshall Koehn: Works out with Giants

Koehn worked out with the Giants on Thursday, Dan Duggan of NJ.com reports.

Koehn was one of three kickers to work out for the Giants this week, as the team may be looking for a replacement for Aldrick Rosas, given the rookie's struggles this season. Koehn was waived by the Bengals last Saturday after serving as Randy Bullock's injury replacement in Week 9.
