Prater managed just one limited practice last week before he was inactive for this past Sunday's win at San Francisco. A left knee injury has been to blame, and head coach Jonathan Gannon implied Monday that the Cardinals are taking a wait-and-see approach with the veteran kicker, per Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. As such, Arizona's last two sessions of Week 6 prep likely will determine if Prater or practice-squad member Chad Ryland will be the team's placekicker Sunday in Green Bay.

Dicker (illness) didn't practice Wednesday.

Dicker will likely need to upgrade to at least limited participation either Thursday or Friday in order to suit up for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos. Don't be surprised if the Chargers to add a kicker to their practice squad just in case Dicker is unable to suit up in Week 6.

Grupe did not attempt a field goal for the first time this season, and he missed a PAT for just the second time. The second-year kicker has now logged just four field-goal tries since Week 1. After rolling to back-to-back blowout wins to start the season, the Saints' offense has sputtered over the past three games. This only figures to get worst with quarterback Derek Carr expected to miss multiple weeks due to an oblique injury sustained Monday night. Grupe will hope to see more opportunities during next week's game versus the Falcons on Sunday, Oct. 13.

Myers hit two of three field-goal attempts and both extra-point tries in Sunday's 29-20 loss to the Giants.

Myers had a field-goal attempt blocked and returned for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. The 33-year-old has now missed a kick in three straight games, but he'll aim to get back on track Thursday versus the 49ers.

San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan said Tuesday that he expects Moody to miss "about a month" due to a right high-ankle sprain, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.

While Shanahan admitted that Moody's recovery timeline is still somewhat hazy, the kicker could be a candidate for injured reserve if the 49ers determine that he'll need at least four games to recover. At the very least, the 49ers will be without Moody for a few weeks, with his injury prompting the team to bring in five kickers for a tryout Monday. The 49ers ultimately signed Matthew Wright, and he'll take over as the team's kicker beginning with Thursday's game against the Seahawks.

Lutz made both of his field-goal tries while converting all four of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 34-18 win over the Raiders.

Lutz was perfect on all of his kicks in the contest after missing his first field-goal attempt of the season in Week 4. The veteran kicker benefitted from an improved Denver offense Sunday that was able to move the ball down the field more effectively. Lutz will look to build off his solid performance and make the most of his opportunities when the Broncos host the Chargers in Week 6.

Wright agreed to a contract with the 49ers on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

One of five kickers who worked out for the 49ers on Monday, Wright emerged as the winner of the competition to replace Jake Moody, who is likely to miss at least Thursday's game against the Seahawks due to a high-ankle sprain. Wright has seen NFL action in each of the last four seasons across stops with Pittsburgh, Jacksonville, Kansas City and Carolina, converting 40 of 47 field-goal attempts (85.1 percent) with a career long of 59 yards. San Francisco's offense ranks second in the NFL in yards per game (407.4), so Wright could represent a usable fantasy option for the duration of Moody's absence.

Carlson connected from 40 yards to give the Raiders a 10-0 lead heading into the second quarter, but that would mark his final chance to put points on the board as the offense elected for a two-point conversion upon scoring late in the fourth quarter. It could be another low-scoring affair for this team in Week 6 against a stout Steelers defense.

Ryland connected on three of four field-goal attempts and his only point-after try during Sunday's 24-23 win at San Francisco.

Ryland was elevated from the Cardinals' practice squad Saturday to fill in for the injured Matt Prater (left knee) in Week 5, and the former fared well aside from having a 45-yard FGA blocked and returned for a touchdown in the second quarter. On Monday, Ryland reverted to the practice squad, per the NFL's transaction log, after which coach Jonathan Gannon told Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com that the team was taking a wait-and-see approach with Prater. Such comments indicate Ryland may be called upon for place-kicking duties again for Sunday's game in Green Bay if Prater doesn't make enough progress in his recovery.
