Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Sits out Tuesday's practice

The Jacksonville Jaguars listed Bhayshul Tuten (ankle/foot) as a non-participant in Tuesday's practice. For the second day in a row, Tuten went down as a non-participant on Jacksonville's Week 9 injury report while he nurses a pair of lower-body injuries coming out of this past Sunday's win over the Colts. If Tuten can get back on the field in some capacity Wednesday, it would put him in a good spot to play Thursday against the Ravens. However, if Tuten fails to practice and is ultimately ruled out for Thursday, Chris Rodriguez (hand) -- who has been a limited practice participant so far this week -- would be the top candidate to lead Jacksonville's ground attack in Baltimore.

Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Not spotted at practice

Bhayshul Tuten (ankle/foot) was not spotted during the portion of Tuesday's practice open to the media, according to Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com.Tuten was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report on a day the Jacksonville Jaguars did not practice, and although the Jaguars will return to the field Tuesday, it appears Tuten will not due to the lower-leg injuries. Tuten will not have much time to get any work in this week with the Jaguars facing the Ravens on Thursday, and if he is unable to go the door will be opened for Chris Rodriguez (hand), LeQuint Allen and Ameer Abdullah.

Bhayshul Tuten was a non-participant at Monday's walkthrough due to ankle and foot injuries.Tuten is coming off a sterling performance Sunday against the Colts in which he reeled off 159 yards from scrimmage and two total TDs on 18 touches, but he now has a pair of health concerns in tow. The Jacksonville Jaguars may be exercising caution with their No. 1 RB, but his status -- along with backup Chris Rodriguez (hand), who was listed as limited -- will be watched to get a sense of who may be available to the backfield Thursday at Baltimore.

Tuten got into the end zone for the first time this season on a one-yard run early in the second quarter, and he was efficient overall against a high-caliber defense. Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Impressive as lead back in win

Bhayshul Tuten rushed 15 times for 66 yards and brought in his only target for 22 yards in the Jacksonville Jaguars' 34-10 win over the Browns on Sunday. He also recovered a fumble.Any questions surrounding the potential workload split in the Jaguars' ground attack were definitively answered for the time being Sunday, as Tuten put together an impressively efficient performance and outpaced backfield mate Chris Rodriguez by nine carries despite seeing his day come to an early end due to the lopsided score. Tuten was able to consistently generate productive runs, but he'll have a much stiffer test on the road against the Broncos in a Week 2 matchup next Sunday.
