Flowers (undisclosed) is being held out of practice "for precautionary reasons" and should be ready for Week 1, Jonas Shaffer of The Baltimore Banner reports. Flowers missed a couple days of practice this week with an unspecified injury, but head coach Jesse Minter did not express any concern about his availability when asked after Wednesday's practice, so it appears Baltimore's top wideout is not facing any sort of extended absence.

Flowers isn't practicing Wednesday for the second consecutive day while he tends to an apparent undisclosed injury, Cordell Woodland of 105.7 The Fan Baltimore reports. Flowers contended with a bruised quadriceps earlier in camp, but it's unclear if his consecutive absences from practice are related to that injury or if he's nursing a new health concern. Though Flowers isn't in uniform Wednesday, he was at least in attendance for practice and was working out off to the side, which bodes well for his chances of being available for the Ravens' Week 1 game against the Colts on Sept. 13. Flowers will likely miss Friday's preseason finale versus the Commanders, though that might have been the case even if he was 100 percent healthy.

Head coach Jesse Minter said Saturday that Flowers is considered day-to-day due to a quad contusion that he sustained during training camp practice, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports. Flowers was looked at by trainers after his left leg collided with Jaylinn Hawkins during 7-on-7 drills. Flowers didn't practice for the rest of the day, but the positive news is that he has avoided a serious injury and should be back at practice over the coming week. His absence will allow veteran Chris Moore and rookies Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt to work more with the first-team offense alongside Rashod Bateman and Devontez Walker.

Flowers left Saturday's training camp practice early due to a left leg injury, Sam Cohn of The Baltimore Sun reports. Flowers sustained the injury when he collided with safety Jaylinn Hawkins during 7-on-7 drills. Flowers was able to limp off the field under his own power but did not participate in the rest of Saturday's practice, and his status over the next few days will be closely monitored ahead of the Ravens' preseason opener against the Eagles on Saturday, Aug. 15. The 2023 first-rounder inked a four-year contract extension worth up to $140 million earlier this week and is looking to build off a strong 2025 campaign, when he registered career highs in catches (86) and receiving yards (1,211) across 17 regular-season games.
-
Flowers will enter training camp ready to reprise his role as Baltimore's No. 1 wide receiver and the top target of quarterback Lamar Jackson, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports. Flowers is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons and is entrenched atop a depth chart that has plenty of uncertainty behind him. Rashod Bateman (personal) is expected to start opposite Flowers after an injury-shortened 2025 campaign, while Devontez Walker and rookies Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt will compete for the No. 3 job. That leaves Flowers positioned for another high-volume season under new head coach Jesse Minter, and he could challenge the franchise's single-season receiving yardage record of 1,361, which tight end Mark Andrews set in 2021. Flowers posted a career-best 86-1,211-5 receiving line on 118 targets while playing all 17 regular-season games in 2025, and he and Andrews could both benefit from more volume after the departure of Isaiah Likely in free agency.
