  Lane (wrist) was a full participant in practice Wednesday after being designated for return from injured reserve. The Ravens opened Lane's 21-day evaluation window to begin Week 6 prep, after the rookie wideout missed the team's last four games while recovering from left wrist surgery. The rookie wideout was apparently able to stay on top of his conditioning while he was sidelined from practice over the past month, as he faced no limitations in his return to the field. If Lane is able to maintain full practice activity Thursday and Friday, the Ravens could bring him back from IR ahead of Sunday's game in Cleveland.

Minter said Monday that Lane could be designated to return from injured reserve this week, and it now appears likely he will do so. His participation in practice -- or lack thereof -- from Wednesday through Friday will likely determine whether or not he is ultimately activated for Week 6.

  Head coach Jesse Minter said Monday that the Ravens could designate Lane (wrist) to return from injured reserve as soon as Wednesday, Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner reports. The rookie third-rounder's offseason momentum was stymied when he fractured his wrist during the Ravens' Week 1 win over the Colts. Minter noted that Lane has kept up his conditioning while on IR, and there's a chance that the 22-year-old wideout could be back on the field for practice as soon as Wednesday, though it's unclear whether he'll be cleared to return for Week 6 against the Browns on Oct. 18.

  Ravens coach Jesse Minter said Friday that Lane (wrist) is "doing really well" and "has put himself in a great position to be ready to roll when the time permits." Lane is eligible to return from injured reserve for Week 6, and while Minter didn't get into specifics, it does sounds like the rookie wideout is expected back fairly soon. Lane underwent surgery in mid-September after fracturing his wrist in a Week 1 win over the Colts. He played 24 snaps on offense in the first half of that game, catching one of three targets for 11 yards, with a short TD catch called back due to a penalty. Lane could be the team's No. 2 or 3 wide receiver when he returns.

  Coach Jesse Minter said Lane underwent wrist surgery Wednesday, and the Ravens placed the rookie wide receiver on injured reserve, Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun reports. Lane left the Ravens' Week 1 win at Indianapolis with a wrist injury that eventually was confirmed to include a fracture. With his move to IR, he'll be required to miss at least the next four games, meaning his next chance for game action will come Oct. 18 at Cleveland. As long as Lane is sidelined, Zay Flowers (hamstring), Rashod Bateman, Devontez Walker (groin), Elijah Sarratt and LaJohntay Wester will be among those that could see additional action at wide receiver for Baltimore.
