Dayes (neck) remains on the Browns' roster heading into Week 1 against Pittsburgh.

As expected, the 2017 seventh-round pick secured a job as the No. 3 running back behind Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson. Dayes could start the season as a gameday inactive even if his neck injury from the preseason is completely healed. He caught 98 passes in college at NC State and could have a significant role if Duke Johnson misses time with an injury.
