Thomas Sorber C | OKC
Thunder's Thomas Sorber: Third-year option exercised by OKC
Oklahoma City exercised the third-year team option on Sorber (knee) on Sunday, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Sorber has yet to appear in a game for the Thunder after the franchise selected him with the 15th overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. He's still without a clear timetable to return to the court and is considered week-to-week, but the injury-riddled Oklahoma City roster can use any help it can get.

Jared McCain PG | OKC
Thunder's Jared McCain: Thunder pick up fourth-year option
Oklahoma City exercised its fourth-year option on McCain for the 2027-28 season on Sunday, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
McCain has appeared in 96 regular-season games for the 76ers and Oklahoma City since entering the league in 2024. In those appearances, he has averaged 10.2 points, 2.3 rebounds and 2.2 assists over 19.8 minutes per contest. The 22-year-old was an early favorite to win the Rookie of the Year award in 2024-25, though a knee injury prematurely ended his season. He was expected to play a prominent role off the bench for the Thunder throughout the 2026-27 campaign. However, with Oklahoma City down Chet Holmgren (knee), Jalen Williams (leg) and Cason Wallace (shoulder), McCain has been seeing the floor as a starter. That should continue moving forward, so he could be in line for his best year to date.

Max Strus SG | LAC
Clippers' Max Strus: Practices with G League team Saturday
Strus (foot) practiced and participated in 5-on-5 with the San Diego Clippers on Saturday, Los Angeles Clippers sideline reporter/host Ohm Youngmisuk reports.
Strus continues to progress in his recovery from a partially torn plantar fascia in his right foot suffered in the Clippers' preseason opener. He'll keep working with the G League affiliate and will likely play his first minutes of the season there before he's cleared to return to the NBA level.

Gui Santos SF | GS
Warriors' Gui Santos: Good to go Sunday
Santos (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Clippers.
After being listed as probable to suit up, Santos is active for his second straight contest following a one-game absence due to left knee tendinitis. He should start and earn his typical 20-25 minutes as the Warriors aim to win their fourth in a row.

Tim Hardaway Jr. SG | MIA
Heat's Tim Hardaway: Might not play Monday
Hardaway (personal) is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Lakers.
Hardaway is dealing with a personal issue and is in danger of missing his first game of the 2026-27 campaign. If he can't suit up Monday in Los Angeles, Dru Smith and Nikola Jovic should see more minutes.

Tristan da Silva SF | ORL
Magic's Tristan da Silva: Posts double-double off bench
da Silva ended with 23 points (9-14 FG, 5-8 3Pt), 10 rebounds and two assists across 35 minutes during Sunday's 108-97 loss to the Celtics.
Following a quiet showing in Friday's 121-114 win over Toronto, da Silva erupted for his first double-double of the season on Sunday. The 23 points and 10 rebounds were season-highs for the 25-year-old, while the boards matched a career-high he recorded back in January of 2025. Orlando will continue to rely on da Silva's production off the bench while Paolo Banchero (ankle) and Jalen Suggs (knee) remain sidelined.

Anthony Black SG | ORL
Magic's Anthony Black: Season-high 23 points in defeat
Black closed Sunday's 108-97 loss to Boston with 23 points (6-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 10-11 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals over 33 minutes.
Black tied Tristan da Silva for the team lead in scoring, while the former accounted for more than half of Orlando's 19 free-throw attempts in the loss. It was good to see Black attacking the rim with his three-point shot not falling, and his eight boards also represented a season high. He'll continue to be a focal point for the Magic on both sides of the ball for as long as Paolo Banchero (ankle) and Jalen Suggs (knee) remain out.
-
Jayson Tatum PF | BOS
Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Scores game-high 32 points in win
Tatum racked up 32 points (8-19 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 15-17 FT), four rebounds, seven assists and two blocks over 34 minutes during Sunday's 108-97 victory over the Magic.
Tatum went back to the locker room after bumping heads with Jamal Cain in the first quarter, but the Celtics' superstar was able to return and recorded his third 30-plus point outing of the season. Tatum made another massive impact from the charity stripe, attempting 17 or more free throws for the second time in 2026-27, and has now dished out at least six assists in every contest. His struggles from beyond the arc continued, however, but he'll continue providing contributions across the board as the unquestioned leader in Boston.

Spencer Jones SF | DEN
Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Still out Monday
Jones (hamstring) is listed as out for Monday's game against the Trail Blazers.
Jones has yet to play during the 2026-27 campaign due to bilateral hamstring issues. He should be considered day-to-day, meaning his next opportunity to get on the floor will come Wednesday versus Toronto.
-
Alpha Diallo SF | DEN
Nuggets' Alpha Diallo: Questionable to play Monday
Diallo (wrist) is listed as questionable for Monday's game versus Portland.
Diallo made his only appearance of the 2026-27 campaign in the 96-84 Opening Night loss to Oklahoma City. Since then, he has missed the Nuggets' last four games. While the personal issue that contributed to his absence has seemingly been resolved, a right wrist sprain may keep him off the floor for the fifth time this season.
