  • DeMar DeRozan SG | DEN

    DeMar DeRozan: Waived by Kings

The Kings waived DeRozan (hamstring) on Monday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

With the Kings unable to find a suitable trade, the two sides will simply move on. With this news, DeRozan suddenly becomes one of the most intriguing free agents on the open market. In 2025-26, DeRozan averaged 18.4 points, 4.1 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 31.2 minutes per game across 77 regular-season appearances.

  • Thunder's Payton Sandfort: Scores 13 off bench

Sandfort finished with 13 points (4-12 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and one rebound in 24 minutes of Sunday's 111-74 Salt Lake City Summer League loss to the Grizzlies.

Sandfort was previously with the Thunder on a two-way deal before being cut loose in March. He's vying for an invite to training camp, and he's likely on track to land with Oklahoma City's G League affiliate.

  • Nate Ament PF | MIL

Bucks' Nate Ament: Summer League status unclear

Ament (undisclosed) didn't play in Saturday's 97-83 California Classic Summer League win over the Warriors or Sunday's 89-69 California Classic Summer League loss to the Nets.

Ament, Brayden Burries and Malique Lewis all sat out Milwaukee's first two games of the California Classic. It's unclear if any of the Bucks' rookies will play Monday against the Kings, though they'll likely be available for the Las Vegas Summer League, which starts Thursday, with the Bucks' first game coming Friday against the Heat.

  • Bucks' Brayden Burries: Summer League status unclear

Burries (undisclosed) didn't play in Saturday's 97-83 California Classic Summer League win over the Warriors or Sunday's 89-69 California Classic Summer League loss to the Nets.

Burries, Nate Ament and Malique Lewis all sat out Milwaukee's first two games of the California Classic. It's unclear if any of the Bucks' rookies will play Monday against the Kings, though they'll likely be available for the Las Vegas Summer League, which starts Thursday, with the Bucks' first game coming Friday against the Heat.

  • RJ Nembhard PG | CLE

Warriors' R.J. Nembhard: Notches 17 points in loss

Nembhard produced 17 points (5-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, two assists and four turnovers in 28 minutes of Sunday's 91-85 Summer League loss to the Kings.

Nembhard finished second on the team in scoring and continues to make a strong impression on the Warriors. Nembhard has 14 games of NBA experience with the Cavaliers back in 2021-22, and he has a chance to earn a spot on Golden State's training camp roster.

  • Bennett Stirtz PG | OKC

Thunder's Bennett Stirtz: Quiet outing in loss

Stirtz produced 10 points (3-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT) with four assists, three rebounds and three steals in 24 minutes of Sunday's 111-74 Salt Lake City Summer League loss to the Thunder.

The No. 16 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft, Stirtz had a well-balanced line despite the lopsided loss. The Thunder traded up for him and obviously rate him highly, but his path to minutes as a rookie is pretty crowded in Oklahoma City's stacked backcourt.

  • Thunder's Brooks Barnhizer: Scores 13 in blowout loss

Barnhizer finished with 13 points (6-12 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one turnover in 20 minutes of Sunday's 111-74 Salt Lake City Summer League loss to the Grizzlies.

Barnhizer was one of the few bright spots in this blowout loss. The Thunder extended Barnhizer a two-way qualifying offer back on June 29, and the franchise is likely looking to have him be a featured player for their G League affiliate.

  • Jahmai Mashack SG | MEM

Grizzlies' Jahmai Mashack: Scores 12 points in win

Mashack logged 12 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four assists, two rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 22 minutes of Sunday's 111-74 Salt Lake City Summer League win over the Thunder.

Mashack is hoping to carve out a role in Memphis after playing on a two-way contract in 2025-26. Across 31 regular-season appearances, he averaged 6.2 points, 2.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists while shooting 39.5 percent from the field.

  • Javon Small PG | MEM

    Grizzlies' Javon Small: Nearly double-doubles

Small finished with 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-3 3Pt), nine assists, two rebounds and two steals in 21 minutes of Sunday's 111-74 Salt Lake City Summer League win over the Thunder.

The Grizzlies handled business early, so the starters had low workloads Sunday. Small appeared in 41 regular-season games for the Grizzlies in 2025-26, averaging 9.7 points and 3.7 assists in 20.2 minutes per contest. With the Grizzlies in the early stages of a rebuild, he'll have a decent path to minutes at point guard.

  • Grizzlies' Olivier-Maxence Prosper: Notches 17 points

Prosper produced 17 points (5-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists and two turnovers in 23 minutes of Sunday's 111-74 Salt Lake City Summer League win over the Thunder.

Prosper has three years of NBA experience, and it showed Sunday. He's coming off a really solid campaign for Memphis, as he shot 54.9 percent from the field during the regular season. With the Grizzlies in the early stages of a rebuild, Prosper could carve out a sizable role.
