Timberwolves' Isaiah Evans: Inks four-year deal
Evans agreed to a four-year, $9.3 million deal with Minnesota on Sunday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
Evans, the No. 33 overall pick in the 2026 NBA draft, is coming off his best collegiate season. In 38 appearances with the Blue Devils in 2025-26, which includes four NCAA Tournament games, the 20-year-old averaged 15.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 0.7 blocks and 0.7 steals across 28.2 minutes. Evans was projected to be selected earlier in the draft, potentially somewhere in the first round. However, he is now in Minnesota, where he will have a chance to earn meaningful minutes right away.

Kobe Johnson SG | ATL
Hawks' Kobe Johnson: Leads Hawks in scoring Saturday
Johnson finished with a team-high 17 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT) and added seven rebounds, four assists and one steal across 22 minutes in Saturday's 83-76 Summer League win over Brooklyn.
Johnson went undrafted in 2025 and spent the 2025-26 campaign in the G League with the Skyhawks. He appeared in 27 regular-season games for College Park, averaging 15.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.3 blocks over 31.1 minutes per contest. Although Johnson is seemingly a long way away from earning a spot on an NBA roster, he could improve his chances somewhat if he continues to play well in Las Vegas.

Ben Saraf PG | BKN
Nets' Ben Saraf: Inefficient shooting night Saturday
Saraf finished with 15 points (4-14 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-7 FT), one rebound, five assists and one block over 32 minutes in Saturday's 83-76 Summer League loss to Atlanta.
Saraf didn't have his best showing Saturday. He shot an inefficient 4-for-14 from the field while failing to make any of his attempts from behind the arc. Saraf, the 2025 No. 26 overall pick, appeared in 44 regular-season games for the Nets as a rookie, averaging 7.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 0.2 blocks and 0.9 steals across 20.8 minutes. Several aspects of the 20-year-old's game need improvement, and while he could earn a larger role during the 2026-27 campaign, he will continue to face stiff competition for minutes.

Joshua Jefferson PF | BKN
Nets' Joshua Jefferson: Quiet in debut Saturday
Jefferson ended with nine points (1-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), one rebound, one assist and two steals over 26 minutes in Saturday's 83-76 Summer League loss to the Hawks.
Jefferson made his Summer League debut Saturday. However, he struggled overall, finishing with only nine points while shooting an inefficient 1-for-8 from behind the field. The 22-year-old was selected with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft after spending his final collegiate season at Iowa State in 2025-26. In 35 appearances, including one NCAA Tournament game, Jefferson averaged 16.4 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 0.8 blocks and 1.6 steals over 30.9 minutes.

Nembhard ended with 12 points (3-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five assists, two rebounds and one steal over 29 minutes in Saturday's 91-70 Summer League loss to the Lakers.
Nembhard struggled from the field, though his 12 points were enough to lead the team in Saturday's blowout loss. The 23-year-old is coming off a rookie season in which he saw significant run, averaging 6.6 points, 5.3 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 19.5 minutes per contest across 60 regular-season appearances (27 starts).

Mavericks' Morez Johnson: Rejects four shots in SL loss
Johnson closed with 10 points (4-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, four blocks and two steals over 28 minutes in Saturday's 91-70 Summer League loss to the Lakers.
Johnson put up modest offensive numbers, though he stood out with a game-high four blocks to go along with two steals. The early returns on the No. 9 overall pick in the 2026 NBA Draft have been encouraging, as his strong defensive showing Saturday came on the heels of a 27-point performance Thursday.

Adou Thiero SF | LAL
Lakers' Adou Thiero: Scores 15 in SL win
Thiero posted 15 points (4-12 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 26 minutes in Saturday's 91-70 Summer League win over the Mavericks.
Behind a 34-point outburst from Arthur Kaluma, Thiero finished as the Lakers' second-leading scorer in the blowout win. He has now scored in double figures in four consecutive outings dating back to the California Classic Summer League. After averaging 1.9 points and 1.1 rebounds in 6.0 minutes per contest across 25 regular-season appearances as a rookie, the second-year wing will look to carve out a larger role during the 2026-27 campaign.

Tristen Newton PG | SAC
Rockets' Tristen Newton: Paces Houston in SL loss
Newton logged 18 points (4-13 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds and two steals over 27 minutes in Saturday's 102-89 Summer League loss to the Raptors.
Newton led the Rockets in scoring, though it ultimately came in a losing effort. He has now started and scored in double figures in each of his first two appearances in the Las Vegas Summer League. The UConn product spent much of the 2025-26 season in the G League, making just one NBA appearance with Houston in the regular-season finale.

Bruce Thornton PG | HOU
Rockets' Bruce Thornton: Positive contributor in SL loss
Thornton tallied 17 points (6-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, six assists and five steals over 32 minutes in Saturday's 102-89 Summer League loss to the Raptors.
Thornton wasn't remarkably efficient from the field, but he buried a trio of triples and finished as the Rockets' second-leading scorer. The 22-year-old also contributed in other facets, leading his team in rebounds and assists while tallying a game-high five steals. After a memorable college career at Ohio State, the 2026 second-round pick will look to carve out a reserve role in Houston's backcourt.

Seth Lundy SG | DAL
Raptors' Seth Lundy: Leads all scorers in SL win
Lundy ended with 23 points (8-11 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one steal across 29 minutes in Saturday's 102-89 Summer League win over Houston.
Lundy caught fire with the ball in his hands, leading all scorers with 23 points fueled by six triples. The Penn State product chipped in 16 points in Toronto's Las Vegas Summer League opener Friday, though he did so on far less efficient shooting (4-15 FG, 2-11 3Pt, 4-4 FT) in a losing effort. Lundy hasn't appeared in an NBA game since 2024 and is looking to use the Summer League to earn a contract ahead of the 2026-27 season.
