Anthony Edwards SG | MIN
Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Leading scorer in preseason win
Edwards closed with 26 points (8-16 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 5-7 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal across 25 minutes in Monday's 122-104 preseason win over the Knicks.
Edwards returned from a one-game absence for rest purposes and looked fantastic, knocking down a game-high five triples en route to finishing as the game's leading scorer. The star guard has scored in double figures in all three of his preseason appearances, though Monday marked his heaviest workload yet, surpassing the 20-minute mark while also reaching 20-plus points for the first time.

Jalen Brunson PG | NY
Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Scores 20 points with three swipes
Brunson registered 20 points (6-13 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, three assists and three steals over 22 minutes in Monday's 122-104 preseason loss to the Timberwolves.
Brunson did a nice job of creating contact and getting easy buckets at the line, and he was a pest on the defensive end, regularly disrupting Minnesota's passing lanes. Brunson averaged 26.0 points, 6.8 assists and 2.6 triples per game on 47/37/84 shooting splits, and he should be able to churn out similar numbers as he enters his age-30 season.

Tre Mann PG | WAS
Wizards' Tre Mann: Logs 12 minutes off bench
Mann finished with three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one assist over 12 minutes in Monday's 131-119 preseason loss to the Nets.
Mann skipped Saturday's exhibition due to general soreness, but he was back in action Monday evening. Mann will battle Bub Carrington for the reserve minutes behind Trae Young, but he's not expected to have a significant role in the rotation.

Khris Middleton SF | WAS
Wizards' Khris Middleton: Remains out Monday
Middleton (rest) was unavailable for Monday's 131-122 preseason loss to Brooklyn, Greg Finberg of Wizardscentral.com reports.
Middleton has yet to play in the preseason as he ramps up his conditioning. The veteran forward's next chance to suit up will come Friday against New Orleans.

Kyshawn George SF | WAS
Wizards' Kyshawn George: Nets 21 points on seven shots
George produced 21 points (6-7 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), one rebound, four assists and three steals over 25 minutes in Monday's 131-119 preseason loss to the Nets.
George was dialed in, missing only one shot while he was out there, and he was one of the few Washington players to finish with a positive plus-minus rating. George showed some impressive flashes last season, but he may struggle to assert himself in the offense when working alongside Trae Young, Anthony Davis, AJ Dybantsa and Alex Sarr.

Michael Porter Jr. SF | BKN
Nets' Michael Porter: Drops 22 points in preseason win
Porter produced 22 points (8-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), four rebounds, two steals and one block across 24 minutes in Monday's 131-122 preseason win over the Wizards.
After a one-game absence due to wrist soreness, Porter returned to action and paced the Nets in scoring. The veteran forward is coming off a 2025-26 campaign in which he averaged 24.2 points, 7.1 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.1 steals across 52 appearances. He'll look to remain a high-level scoring threat entering his second regular season in Brooklyn.

Jock Landale C | ATL
Hawks' Jock Landale: Paces Atlanta in preseason win
Landale totaled 17 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks across 21 minutes in Monday's 113-110 preseason win over Oklahoma City.
With Onyeka Okongwu (rest) inactive, Landale drew the start at center and performed admirably with a team-high 17 points. Monday marked the most action the veteran has seen this preseason and his second time scoring in double figures. Landale averaged 9.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists across 23 appearances (two starts) with Atlanta during the 2025-26 regular season.
-
Aday Mara C | OKC
Thunder's Aday Mara: Double-doubles with five blocks
Mara put up 17 points (4-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 9-12 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists and five swats over 33 minutes in Monday's 113-110 preseason loss to the Hawks.
Mara got some extended run with Oklahoma City resting their entire starting lineup and some key reserves, and he came through with his first double-double of the preseason. Mara is loaded with upside, so he'll make for an intriguing plug-and-play option on the days the Thunder rest their stars.

Ace Bailey SG | UTA
Jazz's Ace Bailey: Headed to bench
Bailey will come off the bench in Monday's exhibition against the Spurs, Jazz digital reporter Eric Spyropoulos reports.
Lauri Markkanen (neck) is back after a one-game stint on the sidelines, so Bailey will return to a reserve role. In his previous game off the bench this preseason, Bailey finished with 10 points, four rebounds, one steal and one block over 16 minutes.

Blake Hinson SF | UTA
Jazz's Blake Hinson: Won't play Monday
