George averaged 23.6 points, 6.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 33.1 minutes per contest during the 2025-26 regular season, and moving forward he'll get to play alongside No. 2 overall pick Darryn Peterson in a new-look backcourt.

Pelicans' Saddiq Bey: Inks three-year extension with Pelicans
Bey agreed to a three-year, $55.5 million contract extension with New Orleans on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

He averaged 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.1 made threes in 72 appearances during the 2025-26 season, and following this healthy extension, he'll presumably play a key role in the frontcourt heading into the new campaign, even with Bennedict Mathurin entering the mix.

Adem Bona C | PHI
76ers' Adem Bona: Suffers sprained foot
Bona (foot) will be re-evaluated at the start of training camp, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.
Bona suffered a foot sprain this offseason, clouding his ability to participate in camp later this month. It's unclear if his status for Opening Night is in serious doubt, as he does have about a month until the regular season begins. Until Bona is cleared to retake the floor, Dominick Barlow and Ariel Hukporti should handle the backup center reps.

Raptors' Kawhi Leonard: Nearing contract extension
Leonard and the Raptors have held advanced discussions and are nearing an agreement on a contract extension, Jake Fischer of The Stein Line reports.

After his trade was recently completed, his fantasy outlook is much more straightforward heading into training camp.
