  • Nets' Day'Ron Sharpe: Meaningful performance in start

Sharpe finished with eight points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 18 minutes during Tuesday's 124-90 preseason win over the Hornets.

As expected, Sharpe got the starting nod in the preseason opener, a role he is likely to assume heading into the season proper. While his production was serviceable, at best, the fact that he was engaged on both ends of the floor bodes well for his projected fantasy value. While there are some doubts as to whether he plays 'typical' starter minutes, his opportunity should certainly lend itself to standard league relevance.

  • Warriors' Brandin Podziemski: Scores 16 points with two stocks

Podziemski tallied 16 points (7-11 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block over 19 minutes in Tuesday's 124-98 preseason win over the Lakers.

Podziemski came out flat with seven points on 2-for-10 shooting in Golden State's preseason opener, but he found his footing against a Lakers team that was resting all their main guys. Podziemski was generating a lot of buzz at training camp, so it'll be interesting to see if he can keep it going Wednesday in Portland.

  • Lakers' Sandro Mamukelashvili: Scores 15 points with three triples

Mamukelashvili produced 15 points (6-10 FG, 3-4 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one block over 18 minutes in Tuesday's 124-98 preseason loss to the Warriors.

Luka Doncic (rest) and Austin Reaves (ankle) were inactive for Tuesday's exhibition, so Mamukelashvili got all the shots he wanted on offense. It'll be interesting to see how he fits in the rotation in Los Angeles, but if he's able to secure a 25-plus-minute role, he could have some value as a three-point specialist.

  • Spencer Jones SF | DEN

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Doesn't play Tuesday

Jones (hamstring) did not play during Tuesday's 93-79 preseason win over the Jazz.

Jones has missed the Nuggets' first two preseason games with this hamstring injury, and it wouldn't be shocking to see him skip the preseason entirely. His next chance to suit up will come Sunday versus the Bulls.

  • Josh Green SF | UTA

Jazz's Josh Green: Logs 11 minutes off bench

Green (knee) totaled two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 11 minutes in Tuesday's 93-79 preseason loss to the Nuggets.

Green sat out Utah's preseason opener with a minor knee issue, but he looked fine in Tuesday's exhibition. He'll provide some emergency depth on the wings for the Jazz this season, but Green is not expected to be a significant part of the rotation.

  • Jazz's Darryn Peterson: Scores 23 points with three assists

Peterson tallied 23 points (10-18 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds and three assists over 30 minutes in Tuesday's 93-79 preseason loss to the Nuggets.

With Lauri Markkanen (neck) out and Keyonte George and Jaren Jackson having their minutes monitored, Peterson got some time to shine as the main man on offense for the Jazz. Despite going 1-for-6 from three-point range, he still converted over 50 percent of his shot attempts, and it was nice to see him take 18 shots after attempting just five field goals in the preseason opener.

  • Aaron Gordon PF | DEN

Nuggets' Aaron Gordon: Scores 18 points on seven shots

Gordon registered 18 points (5-7 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT) and five rebounds over 15 minutes in Tuesday's 93-79 preseason win over the Jazz.

Despite logging just 15 minutes, Gordon led his team in scoring, free throw attempts and rebounding. He's looked spry this preseason, so he seems ready to bounce back after back-to-back injury-plagued seasons.

  • PJ Hall C | CHA

Hornets' PJ Hall: Logs eight minutes off bench

Hall (ankle) registered four points (1-3 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT) and three rebounds over eight minutes in Tuesday's 124-90 preseason loss to the Nets.

Hall had his 2025-26 campaign cut short after he fractured his ankle, but he's back and ready to go for the upcoming season. In 12 games with the Hornets last year, Hall averaged 6.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

  • Pelicans' Bryce McGowens: Active defensively in win

McGowens finished with seven points (2-6 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist, two steals and one block across 12 minutes in Tuesday's 116-110 preseason win over the Thunder.

McGowens played well enough offensively. However, he shined defensively to help the Pelicans pick up the win to begin the preseason. The 23-year-old appeared in 42 regular-season games for New Orleans in 2025-26, averaging career highs in points (8.1), rebounds (2.1) and assists (1.5) over 21.0 minutes per contest. McGowens might not see consistent minutes for the Pelicans during the 2026-27 campaign, though he may be more involved throughout the season if there are injuries.

  • Aday Mara C | OKC

Thunder's Aday Mara: Swats three shots in 18 minutes

Mara recorded 12 points (5-5 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, three assists and three blocks over 18 minutes in Tuesday's 116-110 preseason loss to the Pelicans.

Oklahoma City's No. 12 overall selection from the 2026 NBA Draft is loaded with upside, but he'll have a tough time finding consistent minutes while Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein are healthy. That said, he could make for an intriguing plug-and-play option on the nights the Thunder opt to rest some of their vets.
