The Lakers assigned Thiero (knee) to the G League's Coachella Valley Lakers on Wednesday, per Khobi Price of The California Post.

  • Mo Bamba C | UTA

Jazz's Mo Bamba: Participates in shootaround

Bamba (ankle) participated in Wednesday's morning shootaround, per Shreyas Laddha of The Salt Lake Tribune.

Bamba is trending in a positive direction ahead of Wednesday's game in New Orleans. He can be tentatively placed on the right side of his questionable designation.

  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Rockets' Clint Capela: Out with ankle sprain

Capela (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the Timberwolves.

The veteran big man is nursing a sprained right ankle, which is costing him a second consecutive contest. His next chance to return arrives Saturday, when the Rockets visit the Suns in Phoenix.

  • Pelicans' Trey Murphy: Downgraded to questionable

Murphy (knees) is now questionable for Wednesday against the Jazz.

Murphy was previously labeled as probable, so this is an ominous sign for his availability. If Murphy is unable to give it a go, Saddiq Bey and Herbert Jones could become more involved for the Pelicans.

  • Timberwolves' Terrence Shannon: Ruled out for Wednesday

Shannon (hip) is out for Wednesday against the Rockets.

Shannon was unable to shake his questionable tag for this contest. He's having an excellent season off the bench for Minnesota, and his absence opens the door for players such as Bones Hyland, Isaiah Evans and Jaylen Clark.

  • Josh Hart SF | NY

Knicks' Josh Hart: Out with sore ankle

Hart is out for Wednesday's game against the Bulls due to right ankle soreness.

Hart is sitting out for the first time this season, though he doesn't seem to be battling a significant issue. With Hart sidelined, fantasy managers can expect either Landry Shamet or Miles McBride to step into the starting lineup for the Knicks on Wednesday.

  • Kon Knueppel SF | CHA

Hornets' Kon Knueppel: Cleared to play

Knueppel (hamstring) is available for Wednesday against the Nets.

The second-year star forward will shed his probable tag to make his long-awaited season debut. With this being his first game back, the Hornets may ease him back into action. Sion James will almost certainly move to the bench with this news.

  • Grant Williams PF | CHA

Hornets' Grant Williams: Assigned to G League

Charlotte assigned Williams (hamstring) to the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Wednesday.

Williams will practice with the Swarm and will be recalled directly after. This is the next stage of his rehab as the veteran gets closer to a return for Charlotte.

  • Jayson Tatum PF | BOS

Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Confirmed out for Wednesday

Tatum will be rested Wednesday against the Bucks, Jack Simone of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.

The writing was on the wall for this one with the Celtics looking to get Tatum some planned rest. There's been no report of an injury, to be clear. Paul George, who is coming off a maintenance day himself, is in line for a big bump in usage Wednesday.

  • Kam Jones PG | MIL

Bucks' Kam Jones: Listed as questionable

Jones (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday against the Celtics.

Jones is dealing with a right ankle sprain and was a late addition to the injury report. His status doesn't hold much weight in fantasy hoops, as he's outside of the current rotation.
