Sonny Gray SP | BOS
Athletics' Sonny Gray: Feeling better Monday, next start TBD
Gray (food poisoning) was already feeling a little better in the A's clubhouse prior to Monday's game, but it is unclear when he will make his first start of the year, the San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser reports.
Gray was scratched with food poisoning Monday in favor of Rich Hill, and he will likely take the ball in the next couple days. Chris Bassitt will start Tuesday if Gray has to be pushed back another day due to the illness.

Rich Hill SP | KC
Athletics' Rich Hill: Surprise starter Monday
Hill was named Monday's starter on late notice, as Sonny Gray was scratched due to food poisoning, MLB.com's Jane Lee reports.
This news came out on the day of the A's first game of the season, and it is unclear when Gray will be able to slot into the rotation. Those in weekly leagues were going to get two starts from Gray regardless, but those in leagues with daily lineups will need to make sure Hill is active for Monday's game against the White Sox.

Athletics' Sonny Gray: Scratched Monday due to food poisoning
Gray has been scratched for Monday's start due to food poisoning, reports Jane Lee of MLB.com.

Corey Kluber SP | BOS
Indians' Corey Kluber: Will start Tuesday following postponement
Kluber's 2016 debut will be delayed until Tuesday following the announcement that Monday's Opening Day game against Boston has been postponed, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.
There should be no problem with the weather Tuesday as Kluber prepares to square off against David Price to start the season. The 29-year-old was much more successful at home (2.83 ERA) than on the road (4.15 ERA) in 2015, so making his first start in Cleveland could help him get the momentum rolling early in the year.

Eduardo Rodriguez SP | ARI
Red Sox's Eduardo Rodriguez: Throws live batting practice session
Rodriguez (knee) threw a live batting practice Monday, Scott Lauber of ESPN.com reports.
Rodriguez will throw another session on Wednesday and could pitch in a minor league rehab start early next week. The 22-year-old had a 3.85 ERA over 21 starts for the Red Sox in 2015 and is expected to be a key part of their rotation once he returns from injury. The Red Sox have said they hope to have Rodriguez back in late April or early May.

Lance McCullers SP | MIL
Astros' Lance McCullers: To throw Thursday
McCullers (shoulder) is expected to throw a "couple of innings" Thursday at extended spring training, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
McCullers -- who was placed on the DL on Friday -- is with the team in New York for Opening Day, but he'll fly to the Astros' facility Tuesday to prep for Thursday's session. Barring any sort of setback, McCullers could embark on a rehab assignment in the near future in hopes of returning to the Astros by mid-to-late April.

Kevin Gausman SP | CHC
Orioles' Kevin Gausman: On track to join big club April 19
Gausman (shoulder) is on track to join the Orioles on April 19, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Gausman will throw a side session Tuesday, and if all goes well, he will advance to game situations. The Orioles want Gausman to make both a three-inning appearance and five-inning appearance before he rejoins the big league club, but barring any setbacks, he should be back with the Orioles in mid-April.

Dallas Keuchel SP | MIL
Astros' Dallas Keuchel: Rain pushes back season debut
Keuchel's 2016 debut will be pushed back a day to Tuesday with the news that the Astros' Opening Day matchup with the Yankees has been postponed.
Monday's forecast in New York is not promising at all, so the Yankees decided to cancel their first home game of the season and take advantage of a scheduled off day on the schedule. Keuchel's season debut will now come Tuesday rather than Monday, but he is still set for the same matchup with the Yankees and Masahiro Tanaka.

Alex Cobb SP | DET
Rays' Alex Cobb: Resumes playing catch in rehab process
Cobb has resumed playing catch and is a week away from starting to throw off the mound, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Currently on the 15-day DL, the 28-year-old right-hander's rehab from May 2015 Tommy John surgery continues on schedule, and absent any setbacks, could result in a mid-season return. Cobb has compiled a 35-23 record and 3.21 ERA over 81 starts in his four-year major league career.

Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman: Wins season opener versus Rays
Stroman went strong eight innings in Sunday's season-opener versus the Rays, allowing three runs with five strikeouts and a walk en route to his first win.
The 24-year-old was trusted to deliver in his first career Opening Day outing, and he was able to impressively out-duel Chris Archer. Stroman was tabbed as a candidate for a breakout campaign after flashing brilliance following his return from injury last season, and Sunday's performance was a nice way to get the ball rolling. He is next scheduled to face Boston at home this Friday.
