Means (2-0) allowed one run on two hits and three walks while striking out six in 6.1 innings to earn the win against the Athletics on Sunday.

Means' start was pushed from Saturday to Sunday, but he didn't miss a beat as his strong showing to begin the season continued against Oakland. He gave up a solo homer to Ramon Laureano in the fourth inning but got plenty of run support from Baltimore's offense and cruised to his second victory. The southpaw has posted a 1.50 ERA and 0.90 WHIP in 30 innings across his first five starts of the season. Means lines up to make his next start on the road against the Athletics on Friday.

Luzardo (1-2) allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks while striking out eight in 6.2 innings to take the loss against the Orioles on Sunday.

Luzardo picked up his first win of the season in his last outing, but the left-hander allowed Austin Hays to homer in the second and fourth innings Sunday and was charged with the loss as a result. Through his first five starts of the season, Luzardo has posted a 5.40 ERA and 29:10 K:BB in 25 innings. He'll get another chance to face the Orioles at home Friday.

McCullers yielded two runs on three hits and two walks over six innings in Sunday's loss to the Angels. He struck out five and did not factor in the decision.

McCullers missed his last time through the rotation while dealing with side effects from the COVID-19 vaccine but was able to throw 106 pitches Sunday. The 6-foot-1 right-hander threw a fairly clean outing aside from David Fletcher's two-run single in the fifth. He lowered his season ERA to 4.58 with a 21:11 K:BB across 19.2 frames. McCullers will face the Rays at Tropicana Field on Friday.

Arihara (2-2) allowed five runs on six hits and four walks over two innings in a loss to the White Sox on Sunday. He failed to record a strikeout.

Arihara needed 70 pitches (40 strikes) to labor through two innings in his worst of five starts this year. He had pitched 11.1 scoreless innings over his last two outings before Sunday's poor showing. The 28-year-old right-hander has a 4.03 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 13:7 K:BB in 22.1 innings overall. His next start is expected to be Friday versus the Red Sox.

Bundy allowed two runs on three hits and a walk over six innings in Sunday's win over Houston. He struck out six batters and did not factor in the decision.

Bundy allowed just four baserunners through six shutout frames before running into some trouble in the seventh. He hit Yordan Alvarez with a pitch and then served up a game-tying, two-run shot to Yuli Gurriel, spoiling an otherwise terrific outing. The 28-year-old righty lowered his season ERA to 4.20 across 30 innings. Bundy will take the mound in Seattle next Sunday.

Kopech (2-0) allowed one run on four hits and struck out 10 over five innings to earn the win Sunday versus the Rangers.

Kopech wasn't expected to make a long start, but he did enough to be eligible for the win. The White Sox offense took care of the rest, providing plenty of run support. The 24-year-old right-hander has a 1.72 ERA, 0.70 WHIP and 27:4 K:BB across 15.2 innings this season. He's made two starts and six total appearances, but Kopech may have to settle for a long-relief role once Lance Lynn (back) returns.

Rodriguez (4-0) earned the win Sunday against the Mariners after giving up three runs on six hits across seven innings. He struck out eight.

Rodriguez tossed his longest outing of the campaign and also recorded a second straight quality start. The eight strikeouts represent a season-high mark for the 28-year-old left-hander, who now owns a 3.52 ERA through four appearances. He's slated to take the ball next week during a four-game road series against the Mets.

Ryu (glute) is expected to be fine after he was removed from his start Sunday against the Rays, Scott Mitchell of TSN.ca reports.

Ryu racked up five strikeouts in 3.2 innings before he sustained a minor right glut strain that forced him to leave the game early. Manager Charlie Montoyo wasn't concerned about Ryu's injury after Sunday's game, and it wouldn't be surprising to see the southpaw make his next start as long as he doesn't experience any setbacks in the coming days.

Schmidt (elbow) has begun throwing again, Jordan Horrobin of MLB.com reports.

Schmidt landed on the 60-day injured list in late March and recently received a cortisone injection. The right-hander isn't eligible to return from the IL until June 1, and he appears to have a long recovery road ahead as he tries to ramp back into game shape. "Obviously, it'll be a while, because he's starting from scratch essentially again, but he's doing well," manager Aaron Boone stated Saturday.

The Blue Jays announced that Ryu was removed from his start Sunday against the Rays due to a minor right glute strain.

Ryu was sharp (five strikeouts in 3.2 scoreless innings) before the injury ended his day early. Since he departed with the game knotted at 0-0, Ryu won't factor into any decision, but he at least looks in good shape to avoid missing additional time due to the injury. Assuming Ryu is able to complete a between-starts bullpen session in the next couple of days without issue, he'll likely be cleared to make a start during next weekend's three-game series versus Atlanta.
