Crochet (elbow) is set to begin a rehab assignment Sunday with Double-A Birmingham, Scott Merkin of MLB.com reports.

Crochet got the go-ahead from team doctors Thursday to return to live competition. Now nearly 13 months removed from Tommy John surgery, the talented young lefty should be an option for the White Sox bullpen sometime in May.

Burdi was optioned to Triple-A Durham by the Rays on Friday, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

Burdi threw a total of three innings over two appearances the last two days and didn't allow a run. Unfortunately, it also meant he probably wouldn't be available for at least a day or two and that might have cost him a roster spot. Burdi figures to be back in the majors down the road when the Rays need bullpen reinforcements again.

Henriquez (elbow) is on track to begin a rehab assignment next week, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.

Henriquez will throw three innings in a Florida Complex League game Friday before starting an official rehab assignment next week. He's been out all season with an elbow injury and could be optioned to the minors once he's completed his rehab.

The Red Sox claimed Garza off waivers from the Angels on Friday.

Garza was DFA'd by Los Angeles last week to make room for Chad Wallach and Austin Warren on the Angels' 40-man roster. He will now head to Triple-A Worcester and attempt to return to the majors for the first time since 2021.

Danner (forearm), who has resided on Double-A New Hampshire's 7-day injured list since April 6, made a rehab outing with Single-A Dunedin on Thursday. He struck out two and allowed one run on one hit and two walks over one inning.

Danner also threw two wild pitches in the appearance and ultimately needed 30 pitches just to record three outs. Some rustiness was to be expected after he had been sidelined since early March with right forearm inflammation, so the 24-year-old could stick around with Dunedin for another appearance or two before moving up to New Hampshire.

King picked up the save in Thursday's 4-2 win over Texas. He allowed one walk while striking out two over 2.1 scoreless innings.

King registered his first save of the season without giving up a hit. The right-hander has posted a 1.72 ERA through 15.2 innings pitched this year, and he will continue to play a significant role in the Yankees' bullpen if he keeps performing at this level.

Estevez earned a save over the Athletics on Thursday, allowing one hit and striking out two batters over a scoreless inning.

Estevez gave up a two-out single but managed to preserve Los Angeles' one-run, ninth-inning lead to notch his fifth save of the campaign. Three of those have come in the past five days as the right-hander appears to have taken control of the closer role for the Angels. Jose Quijada appeared to have at least an even split of those duties by racking up four saves and a 0.00 ERA through April 21, but he's fallen off in his past two appearances, allowing seven runs (six earned) across one inning.

Baker (2-0) walked two and struck out two over 1.2 scoreless and hitless innings to earn the win Thursday over the Tigers.

Baker got the last two outs of the sixth inning and also pitched the seventh after the Orioles rallied ahead. Since a three-run meltdown on Opening Day, Baker hasn't been charged with a run in his last 13 innings while adding a 17:5 K:BB in that span. For the season, the righty reliever has a strong 1.98 ERA and 0.73 WHIP with five holds through 14 appearances.

Duran may not be available for Friday's game against Kansas City due to an immigration-related appointment that requires travel, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports. Duran threw a scoreless ninth inning in Thursday's 7-1 win over Kansas City with two strikeouts.

Duran was used in the ninth inning in a non-save situation since he seems likely to miss Friday's game. It sounds like he's not expected to miss more than one game, however. Duran has a 1.93 ERA with five saves and 13 strikeouts across 9.1 innings.

Bautista picked up the save in Thursday's 7-4 victory over Detroit. He allowed three walks while striking out three over one scoreless inning.

Bautista worked his way out of a one-out, bases-loaded situation Thursday, striking out Jonathan Schoop and Jake Rogers to pick up the save after walking three batters. He narrowly avoided his third blown save on the season but has been strong outside of the pair of blown saves, having only allowed two earned runs in 12.2 innings for the season. Though Bautista has had an up-and-down year, nobody seems to be pressing him for the Orioles' closing job.
