Alex Dickerson DH | ATL
Giants' Alex Dickerson: Back in action
Dickerson (back) is back in the lineup for the first game of Monday's doubleheader against the Rockies.
Dickerson left Friday's game with back tightness and did not appear in either game over the weekend. He'll play left field and bat cleanup in Monday afternoon's game, though there's a good chance the Giants sit him for the nightcap to avoid overtaxing his back.

Michael Brantley LF | HOU
Astros' Michael Brantley: Has two hits, RBI in win
Brantley went 2-for-5 with a walk, a double, an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's 12-4 win over Texas.
Brantley has reached base safely in 12 straight games, posting a .360/.411/.500 slash line during that stretch. He's enjoying his finest season since 2014 while sitting in the middle of the Astros' batting order and leads the team with a .324 batting average.

J.D. Martinez DH | NYM
Red Sox's J.D. Martinez: Goes deep in loss
Martinez went 2-for-6 with a solo home run in a loss to the Dodgers on Sunday.
After Xander Bogaerts brought Boston to within a run with a solo shot in the eighth inning, Martinez immediately followed with his own blast to tie the score 4-4. The long ball was Martinez's first in July and 19th overall this season. Through 82 games, he is slashing .297/.368/.533 in 330 at-bats.

Marcell Ozuna DH | PIT
Cardinals' Marcell Ozuna: Hits plateau in recovery
Ozuna (fingers) is still dealing with swelling in his right hand after originally experiencing multiple finger fractures June 28, Anne Rogers of MLB.com reports.
The news had been better for Ozuna earlier in the week, as he appeared to be making steady progress in his recovery. However, the veteran outfielder has apparently hit a bit of a sticking point with his swelling, which is preventing him from testing his grip strength. Given that Ozuna will need to show he's capable of handling a bat without any encumbrance whatsoever before activation, his return timeline seems firmly up in the air at the moment. In fact, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that Ozuna himself estimates he's at least "two to three weeks away."

Jesse Winker DH | NYM
Reds' Jesse Winker: Awaiting exam
Winker confirmed that his injury was to his lower left side or back, and that he'll be evaluated further Monday to determine whether he needs to go on the IL, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. "My lower left back, side area tightened up," Winker said. "I was feeling some tightness in my right rib cage as well."
Winker hasn't had an injury of this nature before. Given that the Reds have no off days scheduled until July 24, they might be compelled to make a roster move if Winker needs to sit out more than a day or two.

Eloy Jimenez DH | TOR
White Sox's Eloy Jimenez: Hits 17th home run
Jimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run during Sunday's 3-2 loss to the Athletics.
Jimenez gave his club its only lead in the seventh inning when he launched a solo home run to center. The blast was his fifth in the last 11 games and gives him 17 on the season. Jimenez sports a lackluster .244 batting average, but that number is more tolerable for fantasy owners as long as he continues to supply the power.
-
Brandon Belt DH | TOR
Giants' Brandon Belt: Socks solo shot
Belt went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's 8-3 win over Milwaukee.
Belt launched his first homer since June 27 but has already collected four multi-hit games in July. It was his 11th long ball of the season and he has a shot at reaching the 20-homer mark for the first time in his MLB career.

Jesse Winker DH | NYM
Reds' Jesse Winker: Leaves with apparent oblique injury
Winker left Sunday's game against the Rockies in the middle of an at-bat after appearing to suffer an oblique or ribcage injury.
Winker was taken out during a 2-2 count and replaced by Sonny Gray as a sacrificial lamb for the remainder of the at-bat. Jose Peraza, who had pinch hit earlier in the inning, took his place in the field.
-
AJ Reed DH | HOU
White Sox's AJ Reed: Heads to bench
Reed is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
After being scooped up off waivers from the Astros, Reed drew back-to-back starts with the White Sox to begin the second half, going 1-for-7 with a walk over that stretch. The White Sox will deploy Eloy Jimenez as their designated hitter Sunday, but Reed will likely fill that role against right-handed pitching, at least until Welington Castillo (oblique) is back from the injured list.
-
Joc Pederson DH | TEX
Dodgers' Joc Pederson: Remains on bench Sunday
Pederson is out of the lineup for Sunday night's game against the Red Sox, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.
Pederson finds himself on the bench for the third straight contest with David Price representing the third straight lefty taking the mound for the Red Sox. The 27-year-old has a .672 OPS with three doubles in his last 13 games.
