Mets' Pete Alonso: Undergoes imaging on wrist
Mets manager Buck Showalter said Alonso underwent both a CT scan and MRI on his left wrist Thursday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
Alonso had the CT scan in Atlanta on Thursday morning after taking a pitch off his wrist Wednesday, and he then flew back to New York in the afternoon to undergo the MRI. Showalter added that he's hopeful the power-hitting first baseman will be ready to play in Friday's series opener at Pittsburgh, but the results of the scans are not yet available.

Bohm (hamstring) is likely to return from the 10-day injured list Saturday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Rockies' C.J. Cron: No timetable for return
Cron (back) said Thursday that he's still experiencing pain in his lower back, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
Cron also acknowledged that there is no timetable for his return to Colorado's active roster. He's been on the injured list since mid-May due to lingering back issues and hasn't responded well to a period of rest and treatment. Nolan Jones is getting a lot of run at first base for the Rockies in Cron's absence, with Mike Moustakas also mixing in.

Guardians' Josh Naylor: Knocks three hits in win
