Brenden Rice: Works out with Miami
The Dolphins tried out Rice (undisclosed) on Wednesday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Rice was waived by the Packers with a non-football injury designation back in July, but he now appears to be back in football shape. If Miami did decide to sign him, he'd be joining arguably the most unproven group of wide receivers in the NFL.

Brenden Rice: Gets cut by Packers
Green Bay waived Rice (undisclosed) from its NFI list with a non-football injury designation Friday.
Rice was claimed off waivers by the Packers back in May, but he's now on track for free agency unless he's scooped up by a different club during the current waiver period. His last regular-season action came with the Chargers back in 2024, when he logged three offensive snaps over three games.

Packers' Brenden Rice: Placed on non-football injury list
The Packers placed Rice (undisclosed) on the active/non-football injury list, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Rice was claimed off waivers by the Packers in early May but will not get to participate fully in training camp, it seems. The wide receiver is fighting with a deep corps to make the roster, and an extra injury will not help his case over names such as Savion Williams, Bo Melton and Skyy Moore

Packers' Brenden Rice: Claimed by Packers
Green Bay claimed Rice off waivers on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Rice was waived by the Raiders on Monday and now gets a fresh start in the Packers' wide receiver corps, which saw Romeo Doubs (signed by New England) and Dontayvion Wicks (dealt to Philadelphia) depart this offseason. A 2024 seventh-round pick, Rice was initially selected by the Chargers, with whom he combined for 10 offensive snaps across three regular-season games as a rookie. He was cut by Los Angeles in 2025 and then spent time on the practice squads of the Patriots, Seahawks and Raiders.

The Raiders waived Rice on Monday.
Rice joined the Raiders' practice squad in early December, finishing the season without being elevated to the active roster. The wide receiver signed a reserve/future deal with the team in early January but won't be around for OTAs. If Rice is not claimed during the waiver period, he will become a free agent and be able to sign with any team he wishes.

Rice signed with the Raiders' practice squad Wednesday.
The 2024 seventh-round pick from USC was cut from the Seahawks' practice squad Tuesday but has already found a new home in Las Vegas. Rice's last in-game action came with the Chargers in 2024, when he played 13 total snaps (three on offense, 10 on special teams) and failed to record a stat across three contests. Now with the Raiders, he could be elevated to the active roster if Dont'e Thornton (concussion) is unable to play in the Week 14 matchup against the Broncos.

Chargers' Brenden Rice: Set to be dropped
Rice is slated to be waived by the Chargers, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Rice appeared in three of the team's preseason contests, reeling in three catches for 32 yards. The wide receiver appeared in three regular-season contests with Los Angeles in 2024, failing to record any stats while playing three offensive snaps and 10 snaps on special teams. Rice will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, there's a solid chance he sticks around as a member of the Chargers' practice squad.
