Packers' Warren Brinson: Gets involved in back half
Brinson recorded 13 tackles (six solo), including 0.5 sacks, in 11 regular-season games with Green Bay in 2025.
Brinson didn't suit up until after the Packers' bye in Week 5, but after starter Devonte Wyatt's season ended when he broke his ankle in Week 13 at Detroit, Brinson averaged 29.8 defensive snaps per game. With Wyatt, Karl Brooks and Colby Wooden all expected to remain with Green Bay in 2026, it could be difficult for Brinson to carve out a much larger role for himself in his second year.

Packers' Warren Brinson: Healthy scratch Sunday
Brinson (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Mike Spofford of the Packers' official site reports.
Brinson was not listed on the packers injury report Wednesday after recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered prior to Week 8. The decision is not a surprise as the defensive end has been a healthy scratch for most of the Packers' campaign. The 2025 sixth-round rookie will have to look toward his next potential opportunity for rotational defensive line snaps in Week 10 against the Steelers.

Brinson has appeared in two games this season, though he was a healthy scratch for most of the campaign. He missed Sunday's win against the Steelers due to a hamstring issue but is back at full health heading into a Week 9 matchup against the Panthers.

Packers' Warren Brinson: Won't play Week 8

Packers' Warren Brinson: Lands with Green Bay
The Packers selected Brinson in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, 198th overall.
Brinson was a four-star recruit and landed at Georgia alongside Jalen Carter on the defensive line. Like many defensive players with the Bulldogs, Brinson's stats are muted due to the depth of the team. However, he has a sturdy frame and should have a chance to make Green Bay's roster out of training camp, even if he doesn't have the opportunity to make an immediate impact.
