The Chiefs placed McDonald (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday.
McDonald will now be forced to miss at least four games after sustaining a knee injury during Monday's win over the Broncos. Ashton Gillotte, R Mason Thomas and Jack Pyburn should be in line for increased playing time in McDonald's absence.

McDonald (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday night's game against the Broncos.
McDonald made one tackle before exiting the game. The second-year player out of TCU is a rotational edge rusher on the Chiefs' defense, and his absence will likely mean more snaps for R Mason Thomas.
