Jets' T'Vondre Sweat: Practicing again
Sweat (hamstring) is participating in practice after being activated off the active/non-football injury list Saturday, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
The defensive tackle will remain "on a pitch count this week as he ramps up," per Cimini. Sweat was placed on the NFI list in late July, but his hamstring injury was never considered serious, per Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic. The former Titan is expected to start on New York's defensive line after recording 34 tackles (12 solo), including 2.0 sacks, in 12 regular-season games last season.

Jets' T'Vondre Sweat: Moved to active roster
The Jets activated Sweat (hamstring) off the active/non-football injury list Saturday.
Sweat was placed on the NFI list in late June. The defensive tackle finally appears ready to move past his hamstring issue and is ready to return to the practice field. Sweat will have a chance to play in next Friday's preseason game against the Steelers, but it will not be surprising if the Jets organization has the interior starter take it slowly and build toward game action.

Jets' T'Vondre Sweat: Unlikely to return this week
Sweat (hamstring) is unlikely to return to the practice field this week, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
The defensive tackle was placed on the active/non-football injury list in late July, though his hamstring issue was not considered to be serious. Jets coach Aaron Glenn told reporters Monday that Sweat should be back soon, per Rosenblatt. The former Titan is expected to start on New York's defensive line after recording 34 tackles (12 solo), including 2.0 sacks, in 12 regular-season games last season.

Jets' T'Vondre Sweat: Lands on NFI list
The Jets placed Sweat (hamstring) on the active/non-football injury list Saturday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
Sweat picked up an injury while away from the team; however it's not considered to be serious. The 25-year-old was traded to New York from the Titans earlier in the offseason and is expected to serve as one of the Jets' starting outside linebackers once healthy.
