Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Scores first TD of season
Pitts caught five of six targets for 42 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-23 overtime loss to the Ravens.
Pitts scored his first touchdown of the season on a five-yard reception in the second quarter. He has stirred to life after a painfully slow start, recording eight catches for 89 yards and a TD over the last two games after having just two catches for 20 yards through Week 3. Michael Penix sustained a rib injury late in the game, and while Tua Tagovailoa proceeded to throw the game-losing interception in overtime, it's worth noting that Pitts was Tagovailoa's primary target in the preseason. Atlanta's QB situation will bear monitoring ahead of a Week 6 home game against the Bears.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Uptick in production during big win
Pitts secured all three targets for 47 yards in the Falcons' 45-24 win over the Saints on Monday night.
Pitts finished second in receptions and tied for runner-up status in targets on a night when Michael Penix didn't have to do an inordinate amount through the air thanks to the ground attack's exploits. Despite the relatively modest numbers, Pitts' final line was a vast improvement over his first three games of the season, when he'd mustered just a 2-20-0 line on six targets. Pitts' uptick in involvement could have some sticking power given his rapport with Penix, and the duo will look to continue clicking into a Week 5 home matchup against the Ravens on Sunday night.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Limited to one catch in win
Pitts secured one of two targets for five yards in the Falcons' 35-14 win over the Packers on Thursday.
Pitts' slow start persisted Thursday despite Michael Penix making his season debut and taking the reins of the offense from the ineffective duo of Cooper Rush and Jack Strand. Pitts has managed just two receptions for 20 yards on six targets through three games, but given how sharp Penix looked right out of the gate Thursday, the duo is bound to start clicking in coming games as they've done previously.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Records first catch of season
Pitts brought in one of three targets for 15 yards in the Falcons' 34-3 loss to the Panthers on Sunday.
Pitts was able to make his mark in the catch column for the first time in the new season, but that one reception turned out to be his only contribution on the afternoon. However, given Cooper Rush and Jack Strand combined to throw for only 145 yards and three interceptions, Pitts' sparse production is largely explained away. The talented tight end figures to see his outlook brighten whenever Michael Penix (knee) or Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) are able to suit up, with a Week 3 Thursday night road matchup against the Packers their next opportunity to do so.

Falcons' Kyle Pitts: Blanked in season-opening loss
Pitts failed to bring in his only target in the Falcons' 20-13 loss to the Steelers on Sunday.
Fresh off having recorded a career-best 88 receptions a season ago, Pitts was clearly impacted by the fact the Falcons were without their top two quarterbacks due to injury. Spot starter Cooper Rush was harassed into two interceptions and took four sacks, and when has able to successfully get a pass off, it typically landed in the hands of Bijan Robinson. Pitts' outlook will brighten when either Tua Tagovailoa (oblique) or Michael Penix (knee) are under center, and that could happen as soon as a Week 2 home matchup against the Panthers next Sunday.
