Pierre signed a reserve/future contract with the Panthers on Monday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Pierre's sticking around after spending the 2025 season on Carolina's practice squad. Despite underwhelming production from Carolina's tight ends in 2025, Pierre didn't get the opportunity to make his NFL regular-season debut.

Bryce Pierre: Joins Carolina's practice squad
The Panthers signed Pierre to their practice squad Thursday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.
Pierre wasn't claimed by another club after Carolina waived him Tuesday, so he was free to come back as a member of the practice squad. It will almost certainly take an injury to one of the tight ends on the Panthers' active roster for Pierre to be elevated in 2025.

Bryce Pierre: Waived by Panthers
Carolina waived Pierre on Tuesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Pierre spent the offseason with the Panthers, and the undrafted rookie out of UCLA would be a reasonable candidate to resurface on the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers. In his final collegiate season, Pierre suited up for 10 games and logged 10 catches for 94 yards (no touchdowns).
