Seahawks' Jadarian Price: Dealing with shoulder injury
Coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that Price suffered a shoulder injury during Sunday's win at Arizona, but "it's intact and nothing serious, it seems like," Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
When Price was accompanied by team trainers to the locker room with his pads off during the fourth quarter Sunday, he was considered questionable to return due to a chest issue. Macdonald told Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle afterward that X-rays were returned negative, and additional comments from the head coach one day later indicate the rookie first-round pick may not miss any time. Ultimately, how Price fares in practice Wednesday through Friday will determine his availability for next Sunday's game at Washington. George Holani and Emanuel Wilson are the next players up in the Seahawks backfield.

Seahawks' Jadarian Price: X-rays on chest negative
Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said after Sunday's 31-7 win over the Cardinals that X-rays came back negative on Price's chest injury, Curtis Crabtree of Fox 13 Seattle reports.
Price didn't check back in after being deemed questionable to return in the fourth quarter, though he managed to rejoin his teammates on the sideline, per Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. Emanuel Wilson finished the game with a team-high 92 rushing yards on 21 carries, while Price posted 13 carries for 52 yards and caught one of two targets for eight yards prior to exiting. The Seahawks will post their next practice report Wednesday, when it will be known whether Price is operating with any limitations as the Seahawks begin prepping for a Week 3 road game at Washington.

If the Seahawks hold onto their large lead, it wouldn't be surprising to see Price sidelined for the rest of the game even if he's cleared to return. If that's the case, then the rookie first-rounder would finish with 13 carries for 52 yards and one catch (on two targets) for eight yards. George Holani and Emanuel Wilson could both see an uptick in snaps on offense for as long as Price is out of the game.

Seahawks' Jadarian Price: Efficient in Week 1 win
Price rushed 10 times for 52 yards and brought in both targets for six yards in the Seahawks' 13-10 win over the Patriots on Wednesday.
The rookie running back touched the ball on Seattle's first play from scrimmage and immediately made an impact, ripping off a decisive 13-yard run. While that would serve as Price's longest gain of the night, the first-round pick continued to run hard throughout the night while flashing a hard-charging style. Price's rushing opportunities were somewhat capped as George Holani also logged eight carries, but the former could be trusted with a bigger role in a Week 2 road matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday, Sept. 20.

Seahawks' Jadarian Price: In line for Week 1 role
Price didn't play in the preseason, but he's still expected to have a large workload once the regular season kicks off, Brady Henderson of ESPN.com reports.
The Seahawks used the 32nd overall pick in the 2026 Draft on Price, seemingly with the intention for him to be in the mix for the No. 1 RB role during Zach Charbonnet's recovery from a January ACL tear. Price handled first-team reps during the offseason program and also at the start of training camp, but he then tended to lower-body soreness, which sidelined him for a week and spurred the team to keep him in street clothes during exhibition season. With a Week 1 matchup with the Patriots just around the corner Wednesday, Price seems primed for lead-runner status, while George Holani will serve as a receiver and in pass-blocking situations. Meanwhile, Emanuel Wilson has been contained to work on the side at recent practices due to a hamstring injury, so it's unclear if he'll be able to contribute in the season opener.
