    Pierce landed on the Panthers' practice squad Dec. 12 after being waived by the Cardinals on July 25. He has yet to play an NFL game, but he will have the chance to compete for a roster spot during training camp over the summer.

    Pierce reverted to the Cardinals' injured reserve with an undisclosed injury Aug. 31 before reaching an injury settlement with the team shortly thereafter. The 24-year-old tight end then finished the season on the practice after re-joining the team Nov. 16. Pierce will look to make his NFL debut heading into the second season of his career in 2023.
