Terrell (groin) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Panthers, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Terrell was listed as doubtful to return to Sunday's contest after sustaining a groin injury in the first half. The cornerback avoided a concussion, but the groin issue has stuck enough to rule him out for the remainder of the game. C.J. Henderson is set to play outside cornerback for the Falcons secondary in Terrell's absence.

The cornerback told reporters that he would be available to play Sunday against the Panthers, per D. Orlando Ledbetter of BowTieSports.com. Terrell missed practice Wednesday after briefly exiting last Sunday's loss to Pittsburgh following a shoulder injury. He did return to the game and play on 62 defensive snaps overall.

Falcons' A.J. Terrell: Frees up cap space
Terrell agreed Monday to convert $12 million of his salary for 2026 into a signing bonus, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Terrell's restructure frees up further cap space for the Falcons to operate in free agency. The star cornerback logged another impressive season in 2025, when he suited up for 15 regular-season games and totaled 68 tackles (49 solo), 12 passes defensed and two forced fumbles. He stands to continue anchoring Atlanta's secondary for the foreseeable future, as he remains under contract through 2028.
