Tory Carter: Let go Tuesday
The Titans waived Carter on Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Carter appeared in nine games this season for Tennessee, serving as Derrick Henry's lead blocker and as a special-team contributor in that stretch. However, the Titans and the 23-year-old fullback parted ways Tuesday, and Carter will now search elsewhere for playing opportunities.

Titans' Tory Carter: Yet to log carry or target
Carter played all 10 of his snaps on special teams in Sunday's 20-16 loss to the Bengals.
Since returning to the field Week 10 following a three-game absence due to a neck injury, Carter has yet to log a carry or a target on offense. The fullback will continue to have a regular role on special teams but will operate primarily as a blocker on the rare occasions he takes the field with the offense.

Titans' Tory Carter: Practicing in full Wednesday
Carter (neck) was a full participant at practice Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game versus Denver, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports.
Carter has missed Tennessee's last three games with a neck injury, but it seems he will probably be ready to play again in Week 10. Once back, the sophomore fullback should rotate in for heavy formations and short-yardage situations.
