Panthers' Deonte Brown: Activated from injured reserve
The Panthers activated Brown (knee) from injured reserve Tuesday, Jonathan M. Alexander of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Brown was designated to return from injured reserve Nov. 10, so he was nearing the end of his 21-day window to be activated. However, it's still unclear how close he is to actually making a return to the field. When he does return, expect him to once again operate as a depth piece along the interior of the Panthers' offensive line.

Panthers' Deonte Brown: Designated to return from IR
Brown (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday.
Brown was placed on the Panthers' injured reserve midway through October after the offensive guard suffered a knee injury at practice. Brown managed to return to the practice field Wednesday, which could indicate the guard will be able to play in Week 10 if activated to the Panthers' active roster. Expect Michael Jordan to continue to start at offensive guard until Brown can return to the field.

Panthers' Deonte Brown: Placed on injured reserve
Brown was placed on injured reserve with a knee injury Saturday, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Brown sustained a knee injury in Friday's practice that will force him to miss at least three games. Michael Jordan will take his place as depth on the offensive line, while the 23-year-old Brown's first chance to return will be against the Patriots on Nov. 7.

Panthers' Deonte Brown: Suffers ankle injury during opener
Brown remained on the sidelines after injuring his ankle during the Panthers' first preseason game against the Colts, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Brown was selected by the Panthers in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft and was projected be the backup guard behind John Miller and Pat Elflein. With the rookie out of the game, Mike Horton and Aaron Monteiro took over the guard spots. The extent of Brown's injury is unknown.
