  • Andrew Parchment: Gets settlement

Parchment (undisclosed) was waived with an injury settlement by the Panthers on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Parchment cleared waivers and was placed on IR on Aug 3, which meant he would miss the entire 2022 campaign if he didn't reach a settlement. Now Parchment will be able to work for a new opportunity this season, as soon as he proves he's healthy enough to take the field.

  • Panthers' Andrew Parchment: Lands on injured reserve

Parchment (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.

Parchment was waived with an injury designation Tuesday but was not claimed by another team. He and the Panthers could work out a waived injury settlement if the team doesn't plan to keep him on injured reserve throughout the season.

  • Andrew Parchment: Cut loose by Panthers

Parchment (undisclosed) was waived/injured by Carolina on Tuesday, Schuyler Callihan of All Panthers reports.

The move comes after the recent signing of rookie cornerback Devin Jones, who was signed Tuesday. Parchment joined the Panthers back in May after accumulating 89 catches, 1,194 yards and nine touchdowns over his last two collegiate seasons. Assuming he passes through waivers unclaimed, Parchment will revert to injured reserve.
